Kharpocho fort is an ancient architecture of skardu. Whole skardu city can be seen from the top of karpocho.

The place has its own character and feel, demonstrating how kings and queens (of the local area) use to live along with their family and servants. There are rooms available for stay as well inside the Fort (though very expensive). The food is very nice...More

A good hike from within the Skardu city --- sometimes along a dangerous path. But the views are just ordinary.

It's a worth to visit Khapocho fort while you are in skardu normal walk when sun is cool it has beautiful view of skardu and shigar valley
