Half day bikeride in Bagan and in 2 surraunding villages was perfect. We visited 3 tempels, all different kind of. Visit in a local market was wonderful and also at the end visit to some farm houses was nice. Our guide Soe Lin Htut was great! He knows history. Well organized trip. I recommend to everyone who want to have some excercise while doing sightseeing. Sunblock is good to have with you.

We did the sunrise, morning and sunset tours in Bagan. For the sunrise and morning tour, Ye Ye was great at adjusting his speed for the group and explaining the history of the temples that we visited. We saw the balloons at sunrise, visited a very local market, and had the most delicious shan noodles for lunch. In the afternoon, we couldn't do the planned itinerary because the winds were becoming too strong for the small boats to cross over to the island. We appreciated that our guide Min looked out for our safety first and offered us a customised tour instead. We visited some lesser known temples with few tourists. By mid-afternoon, the heat and riding through sand became too tiring and we settled down to rest at a local tea shop before finishing the day with a relaxing sunset boat ride with snacks. The tours were a really fun way to explore Bagan. Most of the paths were flat and easy to ride but they were a bit bumpy, some sandy sections were tiring and it can become very hot in Bagan. Both guides were great company.

My wife and I had a super enjoyable time with Soe on the Bagan Countryside Sunset Tour By Bike & Boat, last week. Riding through the farms and villages, stopping for tea and a Myanmar "snack" which was a virtual full meal, and then experiencing the sunset on a wonderful river boat with a beer in hand, plus more snacks, was a great way to see and experience the true Myanmar. Soe was a fantastic guide, host, historian, and welcomed our questions on all aspects of Myanmar including historical and political. This was an experience that is worth repeating. As well all the best to Soe and his fiancé in their upcoming marriage!

I did a great half day ride in countryside outside Mandalay a few weeks ago, so decided to join the Grasshopper morning ride round Bagan. Turned out I as the only rider, just me and the brilliant guide Ye Ye. He was friendly, spoke good English and was very informative on history, culture and agricultural practice. The ride was not arduous, about 20km I think. Mostly off road and sometimes on sandy paths which I'm not used to, but easy to keep up. Bikes good (mountain bikes with disc brakes and nice gears) and being tall I was on a large frame. We finished with lunch in New Bagan, and we just kept on chatting, long after the official 12.30 end time.
