Ticketing staffs not helpful. Would be nice to relocate the ticketing counter to the main entrance. Need more sitting benches. Not enough train attendants to guide passengers and confirm that they are on the right train to their destination. Clean and new. Entrance gate too narrow for 2 opposite cars to drive in.

This morning my husband and I caught the KTM train between KL and Butterworth station (Penang). I mistakenly thought this would be more pleasant than taking a cheap Air Asia flight but I was mistaken. Ladies, the toilets onboard (if they are working) are yucky and have no toilet paper, soap or paper towels. I informed 3 staff members who... More

Getting there with other than either bus or car from Penang is a nightmare. The entry is build in a way you have to cross half of Butterworth (well...) to get there. The entry to the bus station is next door and with double and triple waiting cars AND buses it makes it even more difficult. Walking from the station... More

A bit far to walk if you are having heavy luggages. you have to purchase the tickets on site. Need more chairs and air conditioners for the tourist.

it's just a railway station and the place is good to access others public transportation such Buses,Ferry and Train. It located at beside the Ferry terminal and the Butterworth Bus interchange. but there's not enough space for park our vehicles to send and fetch our relative that arrive from destination.

Had a pleasant journey travelling to Butterworth from KL Sentral by ETS. KTM Butterworth is not wheelchair friendly and has only one dimly lit elevator. Had to wait some time before getting into the only elevator. Walking to the ferry/Jeti was troublesome as we had to take another dimly lit medium size elevator down to the main lobby and take... Overnight train from Butterworth Station to Hua Hin was just fine. Would definitely bring your own food (sandwiches etc) and drinks. Large 28" suitcases will not fit in the overhead bins or under the seats. Most people leave them in the aisle - works fine. Curtain slides across your bunk and feels quite private. Train was clean enough and train... More

Its looks nice than before, and, its just railway station, with some historic old train located near station. Not much to see, but its railway connected ETS (electric station from KL-IPOH-Padang Besar.
