This is ultimate, you must travel in it and should go to second level, the first level is ok in winter but if you want take make best out of the kashmir trip you should go to second level, book online, so that you don't get cheated. go early so that you can enjoy and have enough time to enjoy,... One among the Must see attractions, unless for those who have plans to stay in Gulmarg in their tour, it is necessary to book the gondola ride online. It has two legs of ride and you will be directed to booking of stage 2 ride only after the level 1 booking is complete. Eventhough you book online , you still... More

First touts ....long ques. ..cheaters. ...not worth this money. This place is overrated. .what makes it worse is no management...They don't bother for customers who pay them rs 1600 for half a day. Shame for kashmir tourism.

Gondola is commendable. Even we didnt know about Asia's highest and longest cable car. Very safe for small kids also. Very comfortable ride. Takes you to 13,780 ft. Ice up there in July. Wow. Sledges are there if you wanna be dragged up further. Sun was striking hot, but was cold as well. Be careful the oxygen level sometimes reduces.

The Gulmarg Gondola ride, is the world's second highest Gondola ride in the world. It is truly a spectacle worth experiencing, you can get off at the first point if you are a first timer and try your hand at some skiing. Note: Don't let your children get snow in their boots.

Must reading old reviews on TripAdvisor helped. First: YOU DON'T NEED A GUIDE OR PONY RIDE FOR THIS PLACE. the moment you reach gulmarg, these guys will make your life difficult but be aware. Second: Be ready to make some noise when you see that the Guides are not following the rules. Immediately a lot of other tourist will join... More
