We walked through this park when in Guiyang as we were staying in the nearby Guizhou Abundant Hotel. It's a big park and it's well used by the locals. I like visiting the parks, even for just a brief walk through instead of walking around the perimeter, when I'm in different cities as I can then see how the people live. Not worth travelling across the city to see but, if you're staying in the area, it's worth walking through.…

The park is just like any other with a few old amusement rides inside which do not feel too safe. We went there to try get the bus to the ancient town which proved to be impossible.

most of the locals do not like to queue for ticketing, foods & drink. etc. Getting a TAXI is a big challenge there....

We visited Hebin Park as part of our journey to Qingyan Ancient Town as it is alleged you can take a bus from outside Hebin Park to the town but it turned out this was seemingly impossible. The park is a small collection of 1990s amusement park rides - dodgems, monorail, ball pools, ghost train etc. Worth an hour to wander amongst families relaxing. The river is also accessible from the park so you can take a stroll along the riverfront when finished with the rides.…
