The experience was great!!! the guides (Dickson and Stephen) were incredible professionals that helped us beyond his duty and got us to the top in the safest conditions. The rest of the team (cook, waiter and rest of porters) were energetic and great guys, and the food was incredibly good!!!
I would totally recommend to book the kili ascend with enosa, they are very professional and very good value for money compared to other agencies.
We did 7 days machame route. Bare in mind that the ascend night is going to be really really really cold.

We had the most amazing tour to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro with Enosa Expeditions! We did the Machame Route in 6 days (originally planned 7 days but after half of the trip our guides recommended to cut it one day short which was a good decision).
The whole team was just incredible, especially our two guides Benny and Rajabu. They were professional, fun and so helpful during the whole trip. Without their positivity and expertise we would have never made it all the way to the top.
It is incredible how well organized everything was from start to end. The porters did an amazing job in carrying all the gears to the next camps and setting up our tents even before we got there - so thanks a lot to Masai, Prosper, Fratel, Stewati, Elly and Arnod who were all so friendly and funny and we really enjoyed our two dance sessions. Special thanks also to our porter and waiter Jeremia who always woke us up with a hot cup of tea or coffee in the early mornings and always brought us our meals with a smile and tried to teach us some basic words. We were so amazed how it was possible for our great chef MK to cook with so much flavor and so many different delicious meals, even in a basic campsite. MK always made the tastiest foods - soups as a starter, always a different main course and often some fruits for desert. The meals could not have been better.
So overall we had the time of our lives on the mountain and can recommend doing the tour with Enosa to everyone!

If you’re looking for a company to guide you to the top of the Kilimanjaro look no further! Enosa Expeditions is a highly trustworthy and experienced company on which you can rely in your attempt of reaching the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Together with a friend we booked a 7 day Machame tour with Enosa Expeditions and we haven’t regretted it a single moment.
From the start the contact with Noel (owner) was very good and easy through Whatsapp. The guides Benny and Dickson were amazing guys, very knowledgeable and made sure that we could enjoy every moment of the trekking.
Eventually we shortened the trekking to 6 days because the pace and acclimatization to the altitude went so well that it wasn’t needed to stay 7 days on such a high altitude.
Besides the guides, our cook Alexi, our waiter Bariki and the porters James, Joseph, Dolphin, Exaudi and Godbles were extremely friendly and always happy to help. Special credits go to Alexi for cooking such nice meals every day, even at an altitude of 4600 meters.
Moreover, not only did we reach the summit, we also had a great laugh, which made the hiking easier, with all the guys who made it possible for us to reach the summit.
I recommend to book a trekking with this company to everyone who wants to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.

From creating our booking online to leaving for the airport for our flight home, I was extremely impressed with the service and professionalism of Enosa. Despite being one of the most affordable trekking companies for Kilimanjaro, I don’t think I could have asked for anything more from the team. Our lead guide was James, with his assistant guide being Ombeni; our chef was Saidi who was supported by waiter Bariki. James is the type of person that you want in your corner when the going gets tough. He was encouraging and considerate when I was struggling and he pushed our group to the summit. Other notable mention goes out to Bariki who was a pleasure to see at our mealtimes as he always had a smile on his face. If you’re considering using Enosa, have no matata because you can count on having a smooth and safe adventure where you are well taken care of.

We just got back from the Lemosho kilimanjaro trekking. What a great experience! The Enosa team, with our guides Mambo and Brighton, were great. Good vibes along the way, teaching us Swahili, always gave good advice and pushed us to the top! We really trusted them, they helped us when feeling bad and pushed us trough the hard weather conditions. We even made it in 6 days instead of 7 on their advice. We would really recommend this team. Next to the guides many thanks to the chef MK, the waiter Jackson and the porters! Hakuna Matata.

I cannot describe with words how much I loved the experience with Enosa, it was like making a trip with friends. They make you feel like you are part of the team and take care of you like a family. Everyone had an impact on making the Kilimanjaro one of my favourite trips.
Having Anton as a guide was like making the climb with a long-life friend. He took care of me, but also encouraged me to take the best out of myself. I'm still not sure which one of his skills was better, if as a motivational coach, biology, history or swahili teacher. He was just awesome. You feel safe with him and laughs are granted.
Not only Anton was great but also the whole team, Janja made me laugh every day and you can tell how he cares about making you feel good and safe. Pius was an exceptional chef, you cannot even think about that type of gastronomy at a high altitude. He definitely has skills.
All the team treated me as part of a big family, Aly, Bonea and Richard were also key members of the team who made my days easier and always brought a smile with them even with the difficult job they have.
Asante Sana for making Kilimnajaro even more special!

We did the Kilimanjaro Trekking via Machame Route in 6 days.
The trekking was really intense, but our guides (Dikson and Raja) were always supporting (even bringing our day luggages when we were exausted). It was nice to learn from them all the things about the mountain wildlife and the flora. All the team (8 porters, 1 chef and 2 guides) were amazing, always working hard, helpfull and asking if we needed anything.
Great food from our Chef (Chris) that on request made vegan meals for us.
In the night the tent can be cold, expecially above 3000 meters, but we had a lot of hot water and thea.
Camping life is basic, but we had hot water in basins two times per day, before breakfast and dinner for washing.
We requested also the private toilet (70$ extra) and it was surelly a great choice since that public toilet at the camps are far to be clean.
Long story short... Great experience made memorable by the great crew that was with us.

My 7 day climb of the Kilimanjaro with Enosa Expeditions was a great experience!
I booked my climb with Enosa via an international intermediary which worked well for a very decent price.
Together with an another European we formed a group of two climbers, supported by a total of 11 support staff: 2 guides, 1 cook, 1 waiter/porter and 7 porters.
All of them did it with their heart. Their loyalty to you is incredible in allowing you to reach the top. Also the porters worked incredibly hard. Guidance was very professional, while the cooking was magical in what we received every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Through all sorts of ways, the guides follow your physical (and mental) condition closely which gives a good feeling. If necessary, they have various measures they can initiate. I received a packing list from Enosa after booking and had a breefing and gear check with the guide one day before the start. What I forgot to bring I could borrow from Enosa.
Perhaps only thing for improvement is regarding tipping. There is much being said online about how much to tip. Numbers can vary greatly online. Much is also dependent on group and staff size. Enosa, but other operators as well, might help in providing clarity on this so you can better prepare this before getting to Tanzania. It is not so easy to lay your hand on large amounts of dollars in the country itself. Enosa allowed for paying tip with Creditcard which helped!
I will definitely advise booking with Enosa anytime! I want to thank the whole team as well as Noel Ernest for making this never to forget!

Just came back from 6 days Lemosho route with Enosa. Guide Benny and the rest of the team did a great job in getting me to the summit with lots of comfort (as far as possible of course), good conversations, good food and a great overall experience that definitely exceeded my expectations. As things went well in the first days, we decided to make it a 6-day trek instead of 7 days. I can highly recommend Enosa.

The staff during the hiking were amazing. They were very helpful and the food was amazing! Overall a great trip and unforgettable memorize. I signed up for a 7 day trek but ended up doing it in 6 days. I felt that one of the tour guides wanted to get home early and pushed us a little faster. We had a few in our group doing 6 days and some 7 days, so we were suppose to split during the trek but all ended up doing 6 days. I ended up pretty sick and threw up the whole way up on the summit day. Wish I would have done it in 7 days, due to my body reaction worse of any in the group. Everyone else in my group was ok, minor sickness). Communication prior to the trek was very limited, had to email several time to get questions answered. Wish there was more information sent prior to leaving on what to expect. Please be aware that there was an expected tip around $250-300+ dollars per person after (for 6 days trek and 6 people in the group). I wish the whole tipping process would have been explained better prior so we could have prepared better and knew what to expect. But as mentioned prior, overall a good experience and I would recommend the company.

I did not see this this tour on KPAP's partners for responsible travel. Can someone give us more details on their pay and treatment of porters. Do they have minimum pay, how much tipping is suggested, do porters have a weight limit?

I think Seedy C’s answer is the standard answer for a company who is not part of KPAP. I actually believe Enosa Expedition’s has applied to join so I’m not sure what about the company would prevent them from being accepted or if approval is “in process.” Regardless, the gear of the 13 staff associates who accompanied the 3 of us in our group were well outfitted. I honestly believe that Noel treates his employees well. I would use them again and will be recommending them to the climbing community back home in Colorado.
