I should start with praising the kind communication with Elisante ahead of our trip. It was so convenient to receive good answers to all my questions within a short turn-around time. Everything worked out well - everybody was committed and we felt perfectly well cared for. Thank you Elisante! Our experienced guide was Ali, a friendly man from Moshi town. We talked a lot - not only about the tour, plants and animals - but also about live. It was very good to meet you Ali! Thanks. And we had a wonderful team. Another guide who jumped in as porter but clearly was capable to guide a whole team, our cook, Dr. Delicious and our porter prepared wonderful vegetarian dishes. Now about the trip itself: I am convinced that Mount Meru is more rewarding than Kilimanjaro. Let me give you four reasons. First, you see more animals on the walking safari part through Arusha National Park on the first and last day of your trip. Second, the Kilimanjaro gives a wonderful scenery - it is amazing to look at this majestic mountain (you don't have these views from the Kili). Third, to get on top of Mount Meru you walk two days through the most beautiful forests, I ever walked through and the summit day will surprise you with astonishing views in a vulcanic landscape. Finally, if you live near sea level it is simply less stressful due to less acclimatization. One important recommendation: Choose the four day trip! You need the time to see and enjoy the beauty of nature! I promise that you do not waste a single second.

Everything was just perfect. I got picked up precisely on time, and my guide was so nice, and really made me have a great time. He knew everything about everything, and was really good at telling me about what we were looking at and the stories behind. Afterwards, he and the driver, even helped me get on the right bus to go back home to Arusha. Such great guys, and Elisante just made the planning so easy and smooth. I would highly recommend twangatours to all and everyone

We had a great time together with our guide Iddy Msuya from Twanga Touring. He was a wonderful guide for us five friends from Germany, two of whom were visiting an African country for the first time. Especially 5-year-old Friedrich quickly found a friend in Iddy and asked him to go on when he got tired of the adults who couldn't stop watching the wild animals. Then he said: Let's go Iddy.... ;-) But our thanks also go to Gavrilo Vucic, who invested a lot of time in the preparation of the trip and made the safari a unique experience for us. Be it the visits to Ngorongoro, Manyara or Tarangire National Park or the time we could spend with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, the balloon ride or the arrangement for the overnight stays: everything was perfect! 5 stars for your team! A thousand thanks, asante sana! We will definitely come back and continue to enjoy the beautiful nature of Tanzania!

During our stay in Tanzania we had the pleasure of planning 2 day trips with the team from Twanga Touring (Materuni waterfall + coffee tour and Chemka Hot Springs). We got great insights into African culture, saw beautiful places and exchanged super interesting stories. The tours were very authentic, everyone was very friendly and we felt very welcome. In addition, the team was also very, very flexible that we could also book spontaneously. We had a lot of fun on both days and are happy to have made these trips. Asante sana!

We went (2 adults and 4 kids) on several tours with Twanga Touring in july 2021 and Elisante was very helpful. We went on a 3 days safari trip with the best guide we could have wished for. We also did a day tour to Materuni waterfall and a coffee plantation, and a day tour to a maasai village and the Kikuletwa hotsprings. All these tours were perfectly arranged and we wouldn't have wanted it any other way. We will give him our best recommendation, you won't be disappointed.
