Wow! What an experience. Our guides Andrew and Emmanuel were so instrumental in our successful summit of Uhru Peak! We could not have done it without them. Also, the team of porters and the cook were very much appreciated the entire time. The administrative staff was also very responsive and helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and making it stress free! I will definitely be recommending Gladys Adventure in the future!

Gladys Adventure & Safari were AMAZING. They went above and beyond at EVERY stage of our planning to make sure that our summit of Kilimanjaro went smoothly. Prosper and Dale were AMAZING guides and would highly recommend them.

We climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with Gladys Adventures from December 28th 2020 to January 3rd 2021. We made the Machame Route in 7 days and we celebrated the new year on the mountain. It was an incredible experience and we recommend everyone to do it. We could not have reached the summit without our guides Andrew and Clearence. The whole crew was incredible, smiling, singing and helping us as much as they could: it was also a great human experience. We didn't expect to have such incredible food on the mountain, thanks to our cook Tito we had amazing and nutritious food to reach the summit. Gladys adventures also provided us with private toilets for the climb. We also felt very safe because our pouls and oxygen in our blood was checked twice a day. We highly recommend Gladys Adventures! Thank you for everything!

Friends and I had planned this trip for nearly a year and not even the insanity of 2020 was going to stop it. We flew into Tanzania on Dec 28 and were picked up by the most professional and jovial driver in the country! Right the get-go Gladys impressed us with their employees! We were driven to their Moshi office, briefed on our 8 Day Lemosho route and taken to the Leopard Hotel for the evening. Glady's took care of all of our last minute needs in the city (money exchange, picking up snacks, a good meal next door at Blossoms Cafe) and we were off to the mountain the next morning. The climb was an absolutely incredible experience. Our team consisted of some of the best people I have ever met. The lead guide, Prosper, was soft-spoken, determined, and exceedingly knowledgeable about anything and everything relating to climbing this mountain (with over 400 summits, who wouldn't be!). The assistant guide, Emmanuel, doubled as DJ on the way up the mountain - we shared many songs and laughs each day. Faustine was an incredible cook, evening baking a cake (how at 13,000ft??? don't ask me!) on New Years Day! Finally, our "waiter" Amos (who could be a guide himself!) is an incredible human being - joyful, always full of laughter, and would anticipate any and ever need before we could even think about it. Unfortunately, I suffered HAPE early on the 5th morning. The team did everything they reasonably could in their power to keep me on the mountain, when it was clear nothing immediate could help me, we decided I needed to descend. I owe Emmanuel and one of the porters my life for getting me off that mountain - they even carried my pack for some time on the descent as I was too weakened to even take that. During my recovery for a day and a half while my friends finished the climb, Gladys gave me the same awesome airport driver to accompany around town and up to a mountain village on a waterfall hike and coffee planation tour (which you should consider on their own if you have an extra day in town!) for a very very reasonable small few. When my team returned, we departed for our safari - Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, and Tarangire Park - with THE BEST safari guide in Tanzania - Mkoyni (if you safari with Gladys - do what you can to get him! You will have the trip of your life!!). We saw any and every animal you could imagine. Close up encounters with over 35 lions, herbs of elephants, a leopard in an acacia tree at sunset, and even a python make a kill for its one meal every 3 months! Every moment of this trip was awe-inspiring. Pictures and words do nothing to describe the sights, smells, and sounds you will experience. While Kilimanjaro may not be for 'everyone', a safari with Gladys IS. From start to finish this company takes the cake as the best in the industry. Never, in any country, have I experienced professionalism, service, and knowledge like what Gladys provides. If you go to Tanzania, choose them!!!
