Marangu Route : 6 days
We booked a 6 days ascent via Marangu route and were in contact with Ervarist. Ervarist is very helpful, he was answering all our questions very quickly and in details.
We had Gaspard and Emmanuel as guides : We were extremely lucky to have them during this adventure. Since day one, they were very professional, helpful at all times, smiling all the way and teaching us some swahili words and nature-related topics. We had long and very interesting and enriching discussions. Gaspard is very passionnate, commited with all his heart as a guide and will teach you everything you need to know about each of the landscapes you will pass through, I owe him a lot. Emmanuel is a great mentor, a master of words and will definitely give you strenght and motivation to reach the summit. They were our true support, and for sure, made this adventure a pure moment of happiness, laugh, conviviality, in a nutshell, an unforgettable human experience. Our team, porters, waiter Davido, cook, were amazing as well. An experience under the sign of perfection, with a team who’s dedication goes beyond words. Thank you for everything, my Tanzanian family.

If you want to climb Kili, I can only recommend Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures. They were wonderful with us and I would do it again a hundred times if I could with them. The team is full of kindness and care, they provide for every need or little problem you may have.
I have to say, being the youngest and the only girl on the climbing team, the whole team treated me like a princess all the way to the top and back. All the porters and guides are sweet and kind with smiling faces all the time. 🥰
Special thanks to Saïd : from singing Adele, saving little chocolate bars and treats for me to literally pushing me to the top on summit day, you are the pure definition of kindness. Thank you also Magnus, the coolest guide in the game! Both of them are super amazing 🤩
Every member of the crew is caring and will advise you wisely. Plus, it’s all fun and good vibes only, I literally could not have had a better experience climbing Kili.
Thanks to our super warriors team, to our wonderful guides, they gather to pack and unpack everything when we wanted to climb faster and move to a higher camp earlier than scheduled. Instead of the 7days scheduled, we climbed in 6 days and the team responded fast and great. It’s little details like that which matter and prove how caring the team is. They will adapt to any need you may have.
Also, a huge thank you to Renatus, Evarist and Frank who took great care of us on our 4days in Moshi after the climb. You guys are the best. It’s all smiles and laughs, they will show you around Moshi and recommend places to go and restaurants to try. I had the best time in Tanzania during my stay and it is mostly due to the hospitality of the Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventure team.
Do not hesitate, they’re the best you can find and they will treat you like family.

We went with Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures on the Kilimanjaro trek and we enjoyed it very much. Organization of the trip was very profesional, we received everything we needed from the suitable equipment, delicious meels on the trek, very good crew that carried all the things that were needed to profesional guide. About the guides, Innocent and William- very experience people and becouse of them we menaged to reach the top without any problems. Thanks a lot for everything!

We (family of 5 persons from Belgium) chose the Lemosho route (8 days) to reach the top. Mwinyi, Nyokaa and Calvin, our guides, with the entire team, took care of us really nicely, very attentive. They were just sweet, paying attention and providing guidance and support when necessary. Everything was organized professionally: nice food, tents waiting for us, control of general condition … Great memories! Then, we went to safari for 2,5 days (Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara): beautiful sceneries with a lot of animals and very interesting information about nature and animals from the safari guide.
We highly recommend our Heroes Adventure team as a reference for this kind of experiences. We also enjoyed exchange of views and mutual openness ... Thanks again to all 😊 (July 2022)

I have traveled with this company twice and both experiences were 5 star. My first experience I was with one friend and went on a 2 day safari to Tarangire and a day trip to the hot springs. The guide was knowledgeable of the animals and the national park. The hot springs were relaxing and lunch was provided during our visit. The staff were attentive to our needs and were enjoyable to have around.
My second experience was with 3 friends. We booked a 2 day safari and explored both Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. Both destinations were absolutely beautiful and once again the guide did not disappoint with his expert knowledge of both locations. Ourselves and our Guide Evarist had a ton of laughs on this trip and it made for a truly memorable experience. Our camping arrangements and food provided both exceeded our expectations. After Safari we headed to the hot springs for our day trip. Once again lunch was provided and we relaxed throughout the day by the Springs.
I would 100% recommend booking with this company. They not only go above and beyond but they are also a local Tanzanian Company.

Wonderful experience with Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures team!! We recently did Uhuru peak in 9 days via Northern Circuit followed by 2 days safari (Tarangire National Part & Norongoro Crater). Team is very professional having relentless attention to all necessary details in order to keep you safe, comfortable and satisfied. Worth mentioning is their ability to tailor any trip to your needs and budget. Nothing to be worry about. Everything was perfectly organized by them. Top class !!
We fully recommend them from very high service quality level and support given during our 2 weeks in Tanzania. Many thanks to our guides Saby & Siza, cook Mark, great porters and fantastic safari guide and driver Vendeza 😊

I had an absolutely incredible experience with Kilimandjaro Heroes in Tanzania! Our adventure wouldn't have been the same without the outstanding team of guides and staff who made our journey unforgettable.
First and foremost, our three guides, Mwinyi, Nyokaa, and Calvin, were simply amazing. Their constant motivation, infectious smiles, and boundless energy kept us going throughout the trek. They were not only knowledgeable about the terrain and the mountain but also genuinely cared about our well-being. Their guidance and support were invaluable, and we felt safe and encouraged every step of the way.
The chef, Salum, along with the assistant cooks Prosper and David, took excellent care of us, providing delicious meals that fueled our bodies and lifted our spirits. Despite being in the wilderness, the food was top-notch and surpassed our expectations. It was evident that they put their heart into every meal they prepared, making the dining experience one to remember.
We also cannot forget to mention the hardworking team of porters. Their dedication and efforts were crucial to the success of our adventure. They tirelessly carried our equipment and supplies, making sure that everything was in place so we could focus on the climb. Their camaraderie and positive attitude added to the overall enjoyment of the trip.
My family, friends, and I had an amazing time with Kilimandjaro Heroes. The experience would not have been the same without the exceptional team that accompanied us on this journey. From the guides' motivation to the chef's delicious meals and the porters' hard work, everything came together seamlessly.
If you're considering a trek in Tanzania, I can wholeheartedly recommend Kilimandjaro Heroes. They will make sure you have a wonderful experience, just as my group and I did. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip unforgettable!

My friend and I completed the Lemosho route on 8 September after successfully summited Uhuru Peak the day before. We could not thank enough Kili Heroes' crew for their support and kindness throughout this wonderful adventure. Special shoutout to our guides, Onesmo and Emmanuel, who we strongly recommend to future trekkers. They made our experience fun, had so many stories to tell and were of amazing support, especially during summit night. We could not have done it without them for sure, as it was our first experience of long/high altitude trek. We felt very safe with them and they keps reasuring us on our capabilities.
Special thanks also to our cook Abbu who kept providing us with amazing dishes as the trek went on and of course to the team fighters (porters) who are the real heroes! (Team Hapana)
The pre-trip organisation was also really smooth and enjoyable. Evarist, Laurent and Michael were all very available and quick to reply to our many questions.

The Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures team made our 8 days trip through the lemosho route incredible. We came with a groupe of 8 people from Belgium and the KHA managed the entire trip from start to end. The guides were very friendly and followed our health stats carefully during the climb. Cooks made us very nice food with almost no cooking tools from beginning to end. Porters were very sympathetic and helpful when it was needed.
We have now a lifetime to remember the great atmosphere in which we bathe for 8 days with the team. We will remember our lead guide Mwinyi, Gaspard, Calvin, Nyoka and our young female guide Gloria.
Considering the organisation before the trip, I was in contact with Evarist which is very professional, everything went according to the plan we agreed on.
Thanks to all the team again.
We have now a lifetime to remember the great atmosphere in which we bathe for 8 days with the team. We will remember our lead guide Mwinyi, Gaspard, Calvin, Nyoka and our young female guide Gloria.

As a group of four swiss hikers from the area of Lausanne (age from 47 to 75!), we had the great pleasure to travel with Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures from January 4th to 21st. We enjoyed two trecks, first to the Mount Meru in 4 days as an acclimatation treck, and then a 7 days treck to successfully climb the mythic Mount Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route.
We fully appreciated the kind and professional support from the team of the agency, with special thanks for providing us the missing treck equipment due to luggage loss during the airtrip!
We liked particularly the enthusiastic and professional coaching of the guide Mwinyi Mkude, who brought much fun to this treck, and was very implicated to lead all of us to the summit! Thanks for all Mwinyi!
We are really grateful to the friendly team of guides, cook and porters, who made this treck possible, and for us very comfortable. We were in the best condition to reach the top!!!
