The vegetation around is quite dense providing a jungle experience. The waters are really beautiful, warm with a clear aqua-blue. My favourite part of the visit was jumping into the hot water using the swinging tree branches...a George of the Jungle moment! Oh!...and there are some little fish in the water that give your feet a 'tickling massage'...hehe. An afternoon swim is very ideal and into the sunset hours. The crew at the facility do provide floaters and swimming glasses at an additional small fee. You can carry food or choose to purchase from the local vendor there. The off road from the main highway is quite rough. Preferably access on four-wheel as it gets really bad if it rains. All in all definitely worth going back to - Mar.

I have been to the hot springs twize during my journey, because of their magical appeal. The two connected "pools" are perfectly tempered by the sun. It can be a little bit crowded (especially on weekends), but it is still possible to find a peacefull place, or just float around on the water and enjoy the sun :)

The most beautiful place ever !!
So so worth the visit.
Also for a 2/3 hour journey getting public transport (bus and dala dala and tuk tuk) only cost us around US$15 for the way there and back! So be warned not to get ripped off !!! Also entry to the springs is TZ10,000 so US$5.
I would advise stopping at a market or something before going because the food there is expensive .

Three of us hire a taxi for a day ($45) to visit the site. The entrance fee is 10000 TZS ($5) for a foregner) Ther facility provided are a few picnic tables and benches, a change clothes tent, toilet tent, a masage tent a few food tents. The food and drink are quite expensive (you can bring in your own). The water is normal temperature but crytal clear. Go early in a day to avoid crowd. The raod is quite bumpy and long 1 hr form the main road. All is all a good relaxing day after the Kili climb.

it is not a hot spring per say, water is slightly less cold than normal but don't think off something that is warm.

water is clear, you can see the bottom and the colour us photogenic. There is a mild current when I was there and small fishes which nibble on your skin,

it is a nice place to relax for a couple of hours and there are friendly locals. Enjoyed the experience thoroughly.

Really nice half-day activity. Can get busy and it is a bit of a trek on dirt roads but worth it. The rocks are quite slippery in places (beach shoes help!) and there is a bit of a current in places. Water is quite deep too but you can hire floats for younger children or less confident swimmers. You can get drinks and BBQ food there, though I didn't sample this myself. Entrance fee is either 10,000 - 20,000 TZS (EAC +Non EAC) but be careful, some tour companies seem to charge way too much for getting there, considering the price of entrance. My hotel wanted to charge two of us $160. I paid less than $80 to get there in the end.

The Hot springs are the best place to go when you need to relax while in Moshi or Arusha. You get to swim in the beautiful blue water and you get a free pedicure from the fish in the spring (they eat the dead skin from your feet). If you can't swim; they provide floaters at a fee and also costumes at a fee. I highly recommend this place. Swimming in this spring is so relaxing.
