We booked our 7 day climb up Kilimanjaro through Keys Tours and we could not fault a thing. It was all amazingly well organised by Editha (the manager), our guides (Dawson and Steven) were by far the best we saw whilst climbing, and the porters were fantastic. We also stayed at Keys Hotel following our climb - the rooms were very clean and comfy, the food was great, and the staff were always so so helpful. The whole experience far exceeded our expectations and we would 100% recommend Keys Tours to anyone looking to climb Kilimanjaro! 10/10!

My dad and I climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and used Keys Tours for our guiding package. We were blown away by the level of service Keys provided us. It was much more than expected. Traveling from America to Africa can be stressful but as soon as we landed and right up until our trip ended, we felt at ease the entire time. Keys met us at the airport to drive us back to their hotel. This was so nice because after traveling for 30 hours, it was nice to not have to worry about getting a taxi to the hotel. Once we arrived, everyone greeted us with smiles and kindness. The hotel is very clean and organized. The hotel has a great restaurant that has alcoholic beverages and a great wood fire pizza oven. Lots of other food options too. We were introduced to our Keys Tours guides for the climb of Kilimanjaro and we quickly realized they were top notch expert guides. Our two guides (Kassim and Emanuel) each climbed Kilimanjaro over 200 times. They were very informative and kept us safe throughout the entire trip. Their two goals were to keep us safe and for us to have a successful summit. We reached the summit led by Kassim and Emanuel by going slow and resting often. We could not have summitted if it were not for the porters. They were crucial in our success. They would have our camps ready for us each step of the way before we even got there. They would go out of their way to make sure we were fed wholly, fully rested, and comfortable the entire trip. Everything about Keys Tours is professional and its nice knowing they are a family owned company. They've been in business for a very long time and I would refer all of my family and friends to use them in the future!

The most importent part of the trip was the professionalism and courtesy of Mrs . Nardo Msuya exemlary organization. I did the Kilimanjaro trek in six days , then one day trip - Maasai village cultural tour, and one day Tarangiri national park. during the trek i was guided by a guide name Bosko that was very professional above and beyond expected.
he helped support and encouged always kindly with a big smile on his face.

I just finished the three day safari trip with my family to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro national park and Tarangire national park which we booked Keys Tours. This was the best safari experience that I could have imagined. Our guide was the best- Godfrey was so knowledgeable about the animals and the amazing things we were witnessing in the wild. The tour was so well organised thanks to Norda who was our contact for booking the tour. She did a fantastic job at organising everything and for being so wonderful. Our lodges that we stayed in in between visiting the national parks were incredible and so comfortable. The Keys Hotel which was our base for the start and end of our trip was really comfortable and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. You get the best customer service here in Tanzania! The food throughout the trip was delicious and so flavoursome. The safari experience was the best and one we will never forget thanks to Keys Tours. We saw things in the wild that I never thought we would see and saw so many animals up close! A big thank you to Keys and their staff. We would definitely book Tours in the future with Keys and would highly recommend them. Asante asana!

Keys Tours was unbelievably kind, and helpful. We chose the shortest and hardest route up Kili because our main purpose in Tanzania was to visit friends and work with partners at a school to conduct a GIS/Virtual Realty workshop for girls. Not everyone in our party summited (2 out of 4) but if we had just a few more days, I'm certain we'd have better acclimated and everybody would have submitted. Three to four days is not enough time to hike the peak. The Keys Lodge accommodations were beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. Our guides made our hike up Kili an incredible experience. The price for our guided hike could not be beaten, with all the love and care the Keys Tour guides gave us we felt so pampered. We were led by Bosco and Reggie, the absolute best guides ever. They took such great care of us. Booger and the other porters were also amazing. They fed us really well and kept us moving even when it was super tough to hike in the rain and cold. We loved our trip and we will definitely work with Keys Tours in the future for all our trips in TZ.

We have been coming to Tanzania since 2009 with teams of between 5 and 35 people and have stayed at the Keys Hotel every time. Over the years we have booked various excursions including Safaris, waterfalls, coffee experiences and the latest being a trek up Mt Kilimanjaro. Every time we stay and every excursion has been absolutely perfect. The guides on all the excursions are kind, professional and knowledgeable.
Most recently the experience we had during our trek up Mt Kilimanjaro was really more than I expected. Each porter is absolutely amazing! Our guides we caring and helpful to our needs, helping us to achieve our goal of summiting Kili.
Whether staying at the Keys Hotel while in Moshi or booking adventures through Keys Tours you will not be disappointed!

Jambo! We were in Africa for 3.5 weeks and it was the most incredible trip ever. Keys was our home base and arranged everything. Nardo took care of everything for us and all the staff was great! We went on several safaris; Nogorongoro and Tarangire were day trips and we drove across country for safari with two nights in Serengeti. We had a hot air balloon ride at sunrise over Serengeti with a champagne breakfast upon landing. We spent two nights in Zanzabar and went scuba diving in the Indian Ocean. We also flew to Uganda for 5 days and went gorilla trekking.
We were completely immersed in the culture discovering and experiencing so much.
We also hiked to the base camp of Kilimanjaro!
I have aspirations to return and hike to the top!!
Keys was our home away from home!
The warm welcome and continued hospitality throughout our entire stay was the best!
Keys comes highly recommended. We could not have had the outstanding experiences we had without Nardo and the Keys team there!
If you’re ever considering a trip to east Africa, Tanzania and the Kilimanjaro region is it.
With the help of Keys Tours it will be an experience of a lifetime and it will not disappoint.

My son and I scheduled to climb Mt Kilimanjaro with a western guiding business, that we have engaged several other times previously. When the expedition was canceled, due to COVID-19, we chose to engage Keys Tours to lead us to the top of Africa. Our experience with Keys Tours was nothing less than spectacular. Our guides and porters were outstanding. Guides Kassim and Emanuel were as qualified as any guides we had previously used. Both were fluent in our native tongue, English. They were knowledgeable of the mountain climates and history. They knew the route and how to cause our acclimatization, which resulted in a successful summit on Monday, September 28, 2020. The Keys Hotel facility was shiny clean, and everyone was dedicated to exceeding our expectations. Rarely, due I come across such great customer service and smiles. We felt appreciated. If a Mt Kilimanjaro expedition is in your future, do not hesitate and contact Edita at Keys Tours.

It was a privilege to stay with the entire key staff during my time in Tanzania. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, respectful, funny, and most importantly kind group, look no further than Keys Tours. I mean it when I say that every person working at Keys genuinely cares about you. Big thanks to Richard, who was bartending at the time, for allowing me to practice my presentation to him and giving me feedback. And a very special thanks to Swai, who might be the most kind and genuine guide I have ever had on any vacation. The compassion that he radiates every day makes the experiences you spend with him the best. Couldn't recommend Keys Tours and Swai enough.

Absolutely! Our tours are designed to accommodate families of various sizes, including yours with 7 members. We prioritize providing a cohesive experience for all participants.
3. How should I dress for this tour?
We recommend dressing comfortably and according to the weather conditions of the tour's location. Additionally, wearing layers is advisable for fluctuating temperatures. Comfortable walking shoes are also recommended for any walking portions of the tour.
