My husband and I booked the Kilimanjaro Machame route trekking with Kilimanjaro Economy Safari and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Edward the director did extremely well organizing all the logistics and assigning a wonderful crew of experienced mountain guides, porters and cook who supported our climb to the roof of Africa.
We also did a 3 day lodge safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Materuni waterfalls after the trek. The game drives were amazing and really enjoyed the whole Tanzania experience.

I did the 8 day Lemosho Route with Kilimanjaro Economy Safary.
Since the booking until my arrival to Tanzania the exchange of information was successful and easy.
Transfers and hotel nights before and after were correct.
The hike itself was perfect. Adjusted to my level when required, with a lot of nourishing information provided about the mountain, the hiking estrategies, the country…
The flexibility of the company allowed me to squeeze a safary day (between multiple other options) that worked beautifull!
Manager, guide, cooker, porters, driver, hotel service… from beggining to end feeling like family.
As a solo traveller I always felt protected, at home.

We recently booked an 8 day Lemosho route Kilimanjaro trek with Kili Economy Safari.
From the start Edward was great to deal with. He replied to emails promptly and gave us all the info we needed.
We had an absolutely amazing time on the mountain!
All the mountain crew were fantastic.
Haji and Mariki were great, knowledgeable guides and paced our trek very well. I was with my roughly 70 year old parents and they looked after them extremely well!
Patrick, the chef, provided us with plenty of lovely food!
Keneth, the waiter, was extremely friendly and even came to the summit with us.
And all the porters were amazing too!
Everyone worked so hard to make our trek comfortable and give us the best chance of making it to the peak! And they were happy all the time!
We finished the trek a day early by skipping the night at Shira 1 camp. As a result we were given an extra nights stay at Kili cottages in Moshi afterwards.
The accom here was great.
Edward then organised our transfer to Arusha for a safari and provided us with a complimentary t-shirt!
I would definitely recommend Kili Economy Safari to anyone looking to hike the mountain!
They did a marvellous job!!

It was an amazing 6D/5N trip in Tanzania in Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater hosted by Kilimanjaro Economy Safari. We had excellent game drives with Goodluck our excellent guide. He found so many animals for us; elephants, hippos, lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, leopard, rhino, giraffes and so many others that I cannot possibly enumerate but have documented in nice photos. We love birding and Goodluck knew most of the birds that we saw. He also had a book of birds of Tanzania which we used to identify the species. We took the camping option which was most affordable option but it was excellent, we even had our own cook, the tents were clean and comfortable. I hope to come back sometime in future for another trip.

We spent a wonderful day with my partner and her two younger sisters at the Rundugai Springs in Sanya after successfully trekking to the summit of Kilimanjaro. Early in the morning after breakfast Teacher picked us from our hotel Kili Cottages in Moshi and drove us this was an amazing place where we spent the day exploring the beautiful surroundings and dipping in the sparkling water of the spring. It was a great way to rejuvenate our bodies before our long flight back home later in the day.
I recommend that those doing Kili should include this visit after their climb and Kili Economy is quite affordable and an excellent choice.

What is not to like about this company. Everything was absolutely perfect. Seamless communication from Teacher with his prompt detailed answers to all our questions, briefed us on how to best prepare for the trek and was there at JRO to welcome us when we arrived.
The service was first class and I particularly appreciate the excellent work put in by the climbing crew. They took us under their care, treated with respect and care. Our health and well-being was top on their list. We found the route to be beautiful and scenic, starting off with the lush green tropical forest. The scenes kept changing as we moved up the mountain up to the glaciers at the top.
The food and accommodations were excellent. I highly appreciate Mustapha our lead guide for taking us to the summit in an adventure that I will never forget.

It is impossible to put in to words the incredible experience we had climbing Kili, Lemosho Route, with Kilimanjaro Economy Safari. The guides, Hadji and Mariki, were amazing…helpful, friendly, encouraging, professional, adapting to our needs and pace. They really kept us going. Hadji’s experience on the mountain made us feel safe. Mariki was the assistant guide and got me to Uhuru peak. He felt like a brother. However, the entire mountain crew was amazing…fun to be with and they served and helped us beyond our wildest expectations. They were always looking to help and encourage us in any way they could, always with a smile. It was an exhilarating experience and we couldn’t have done it without the entire team.
The food was fantastic. Who would have thought that you could have such incredible meals at 14k feet. We had delicious food every day and we looked forward to our fresh soup every night (we still talk about the best soup ever). Though at times we had little appetite due to the elevation, Kenny kept encouraging us to get the necessary calories with a smile and friendly word.
We had planned to do the Lemosho route over 8 days but did it in 7. We loved the route. The monkeys and incredible diversity in terrain and vegetation were stunning. The stars at night were indescribable..and the sunrise on summit morning was…well you have to experience it. It was only my wife and me wit the mountain team, which allowed us to go at our own pace. We are just average 55 year olds, in decent shape but not marathoners. It was definitely a challenge but very doable.
Kili Economy was great all the way through. There are so many tour options and I explored dozens before choosing. I am very glad we landed with Kili Economy. Edward was always quick to respond to questions, professional and friendly, one of the big influences in deciding to go with this tour company. The value for the money was amazing. We felt like we were part of the Kili Economy family. The base camp they provided for accommodation was very basic (simple, no wifi and 10 minutes from town) but safe and clean. We decided to get a hotel room in town the night we arrived back, simply to spoil ourselves after an exhilarating but exhausting week.
Following the trek up Kili, we did a 5 day safari with them to the four major parks in northern Tanzania. It was nice to have a seamless transition from the trek to the safari. The accommodations they chose for the safari were some of the best and most unique we’ve stayed at anywhere and added to the beauty of the safari tour.
We are very thankful for the Kili Economy team. It was an experience we will never forget. I think you would be hard pressed to find a tour with a better combination of professionalism, friendliness, service and value for your money, I would definitely recommend them.

There are numerous safari companies operating in the Northern Tanzania and you realise the difference when you get there (quality of vehicles, size of tour group etc). I was very pleased we booked with Kilimanjaro Economy Safari We had Teacher as a fantastic guide for our 5 day safari via the Northern Circuit route. I believe the maximum group size is 7 but we were very lucky that it was just our family of 4 on the trip. That said, even with 7 people, the pop up roof safari vehicles are geared for 8 people so there is plenty of room to look in both directions. I fully recommend Kilimanjaro Economy Safari

Our driver, Brighton, did a great job! He picked us up at the hotel on time. He provided us good information about the animals that we found. Brighton was nice all the time and he treated us very well during all the time. I recommend this operator, they achieved our expectations and had a good price also.
