We had an amazing day out in the Tarangire National Park, Manyara and to a Maasai Boma. Everything was organized very well, from the pick up at the hotel, a very comfortable jeep with an open roof, fridge, cold drinks and snacks to a very experienced guide. Thanks to William who really knows where to find the animals we saw very closeby elephants, zebras, ostriches, giraffes, warthogs, antilopes, many birds (amongst them several impressive voltrures and eagles) and last but not least lions, one of them very close (less than 5m). William spotted them before other drivers and made this trip unforgettable. After Tarangire we drove to the Manyara Lake region with breath-taking views over the lake. William was very flexible and stopped at a Maasai Market that took place coincidentally that day and walked with us to explore the food market as well as the goat bbq. Just before sunset we arrived at the Boma, where we were introduced to the Maasai lifestyle and invited to dance and sing with them. This was an incredible day and I highly recommend Goldfish tours. They are 100 % trustworthy, experienced and motivated to give you an unforgettable adventure. We were very happy with our choice.

Wow what an experience with goldfish tours! I am now back in England after a 10 day trip to Tanzania in March 2022. I did 6 days in Zanzibar and then organised a last minute tour with goldfish tours for 4 days. We did the 4 day, 3 night tour covering tarangire, the Serengeti and ngorogoro crater. We saw the big 5 and much more with so many priceless memories and photos from our trip As someone who has travelled around the world and done many tours this has instantly become the best tour and decision I ever made. I have seen the salt flats in Bolivia, trekked machu pichu in Peru, seen ha long bay in Vietnam, visited lions head in South Africa but nothing compares to the Serengeti. It is a must see destination. I had done small safari in Sri Lanka and South Africa but this was sooo much better in every way We was hesitant at first to book it as we was having a great time in Zanzibar but once we started the tour I had no regrets. It’s very good value for money as it includes 3 meals a day, all accommodation and entrance prices. Plus 2 guides , Mohammed and Steven Mohammed and Steven run the company. They set it up 5 years ago. With this tour you get two tour guides, both with great experience and knowledge. They are young, kind and want to do everything to make sure you have a great time. They picked us up from Arusha at 8.30am and the adventure started straight away. We headed to Tarangire and instantly saw elephants , giraffe , zebra and 2 cheetahs. We then headed to Karatu for a nights sleep. Up early and heading towards the Serengeti we stopped at Ngorogoro rim for a quick view. The drive was amazing with an en route game seeing thousands of zebra and wildebeest on route. As we entered the Serengeti we saw female and male lions, hyena, thousands of zebra, hundreds of giraffe and a few hippos. We then did an evening sunset drive We stayed at Shuhudia tented lodge and had a very large luxury tent right in the centre of the Serengeti. There was hot water and an excellent dinner. The tent was bigger than any hotel room I’ve stayed in , maybe 500 square foot. Day 3- we did a 7am to 1pm 6hr game drive in the Serengeti seeing lots of variety of animals. We then had lunch and Steven headed out for another 2.5 hour evening drive around sunset. This was above what we expected and Steven managed to find us 3 different leopards. The car comes with binoculars for everyone We then had dinner and went to sleep early ready for our last day Day 4 was our last day. 5am start to watch sunrise whilst heading from the Serengeti to ngorogoro crater. The early start paid off as we saw hippos outside of their mud pools, hyena running through the Serengeti and then a whole family of cheetah just 2 metres from our car. The sunrise was stunning and the cheetahs were the highlight of the whole tour. We reached ngorogoro crater on the hunt for the rhino. We was lucky enough to see 8 rhino during our drive and another male lion. We had lunch by the hippo lake pool with zebra just 10’metres from our car. We then made the long drive to kilmanjaro for our evening flight out. The 4 day experience was amazing, the best tour I’ve ever done. Mohammed and Steven went above and beyond our expectations to provide us a memorable once in a lifetime experience. We saw the big 5 and more In total we saw 10 lions 3 leopards 50+ elephants 100+ water buffalo 8 rhino 7 cheetah 50+ hippos 5 crocodile 50+ giraffe 5 eagles 10,000+ zebras 10,000+ wildebeest The car was comfortable, we had plugs and usb chargers to charge our phones and cameras, we had a fridge to keep our drinks cool They had a speaker system to play music or you could play your own. Steven would stop at any moment if we saw something we wanted to watch or take a photo off. This tour is a must do, our only regret was not having an extra day to see even more of the crater. Ngorogoro crater is amazing, reported as the 7th wonder of the natural world. In summary this is what we saw on each day Day 1 - Tarangire elephant Impala Water buck Ostrich Giraffe Zebra Cheetah x 2 Warthog Vervet monkey Day 2- ngorogoro rim to Serengeti Zebra Giraffe Wildebeest Lions x 9 Topi Dik dik Baboon Hyena Waterbuck Guineafowl Stork Impala Day 3- central Serengeti Leopard x 3 Hippopotamus Baboon Baby crocodile Ostrich Giraffe Topi Hartebeest Elephant Warthog Dik dik Impala Big crocodile x 3 Heron Monkey Waterbuck Water Buffalo -5 Tomson gazel Eagle Secretary bird Town eagle Jackel Day 4 - Serengeti to ngorogoro crater Hippopotamus Dik dik Water buffalo x 300 Wild cat Spotted hyena x 3 Eagle x 4 Zebra Wildebeest Secretary bird 5 cheetahs !!!!! Thank you for organizing Lemosho route 7 days for my wife and I. It was a dream come true. Their team of guide, chef and porters were excellent. The chef made very good food, and we managed to climb Kilimanjaro without any trouble. Special thanks to Mohamed from Goldfish Tours for all the help that he was rendered during our planning. I will definitely suggest the company to anyone looking for a great time in the mountains.

Our family of 4 took the 7-day Rongai route and summited Kilimanjaro on June 2019. The experience was amazing! We did a lot of research before choosing Goldfish Tours to climb Kilimanjaro. The tours companies ranged in prices with Goldfish Tours being in the middle. We were extremely happy with our choice. Based on comparing our experiences with other climbers on the same route, we did not have the most elaborate food, the equipment showed signs of wear (our tent zipper was troublesome). We were fine with all of this. We had plenty of food - we were not hungry. The clothing and sleeping bags we rented were warm and in good shape. We had an excellent support team! Magnus, Isdori and Gasper. They were all about safety and getting us to the top in great shape. Everyday they assessed our health via how well we were climbing, how talkative we were and how well we were eating. Their goal was for us to have a great journey and not just make it to the top. My husband was not feeling great on the summit day. Magnus really slowed down our pace and kept us steady. My husband never got worse and walked with the rest of us to the summit. We were a family at the top! Thank you Goldfish Tours for a journey of a lifetime.
