If i need to describe this experience in one word it would be: Amazing!, i climbed the mountain mid august with my dad and everything was perfect! we were picked up from the airport after our flight from Amsterdam and dropped of at an very nice hotel. the day after that we did a hike to the materuni waterfall and we made our own coffee at a local farm. when we got back our guides came by to meet with us and did a gear check for kilimanjaro. the next day we went to the mountain to do the 8 day lemosho route, everything was well organised and we had an amazing team of porters, a cook and two amazing guides. (thank you Freddy and Innocent! ) the food on the mountain was very good and we were very well taken care off. when we did the summit i had a bit of trouble staying awake and to keep going but our amazing guides helped me make the push to the top and helped me summit!
After Kilimanjaro we also did a 5 day safari which was also really fun! we had a nice driver who showed us a lot of animals and the food was also very good!
Thank you guys so much for this Amazing experience! we would recommend this to everyone.

It was an incredible journey, an amazing experience and I couldn’t have done it without the continuous encouragement from the guides and porters. Ahsante Sana to Innocent, Jackson, Karly, Peter, Selim (my Rafiki), Saidi and Joseph for all the stories and for not giving up when I almost did…🙏🏻
The food - well is in abundance and is diversified. I had 3 vegetarians in my group and everyone was content.
The water - plenty, good taste.
So no worries with these two. No need for pills or filter for the water - it’s already taken care of.
Everyone can hike Kili - it’s a truth. And this is thanks to the way we hike: Pole - Pole. Very easy, step by step we can all reach the summit.

Best hike ever with the guides peter and Jackson and crew. Wilson is excellent chef and iosif serving our food. Due to this team we made it to the summit and motivated us to continue, to one of the best days ever.

If you are looking for a 5-star experience on Mt. Kilinajaro, Kili africa tours will definitely arrange that for you. My boyfriend and I had a blast and it is all thanks to an excellent and very professional team we had to guide and support us along this 7day trek to Uhuru peak. We felt very secure at all times; the guides were extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly how to handle every difficult situation we could possibly encounter, for instance unforeseen weather conditions, health matters, gear issues, just to name a few. They shared many interesting stories, facts and history about the mountain and Tanzania in general. We were entertained by our team daily who also motivated and cheered for us, after each major milestone giving us the confidence we need to succeed on this expedition. In terms of the food, we had huge quantities of very delicious, warm and nutrional dishes 5 times a day. We were treated like family, it was our Kili family and we are greatful we made the decision to climb with them. We made friends for life. I strongly recommend them for any type of climbers, whether you are a solo traveler, travelling with friends or family. Any request you might have they can sort it out for you.

I am glad I found these guys on instagram, among many others. Just saying they are the best in the business wouldn't do enough justice for everything they offered. The owner of the company Seif is overwhelmingly welcoming and was there with me right from the day i started thinking about the trek. He gave all the information that i needed on Kilimanjaro trek, choosing a route planning my travel and everything. I was on a budget and when enquired about the cost Seif openly suggested me to join one of thier group joinings to reduce the cost and I did, but the other guys on the group joining, had postponed thier plan and I was alone on the dates I had choosen, yet Kili Africa tours planned and arranged a private trek for me for the same cost. Which is much much appreciated. The trek was run by a group of professional, enthusiastic and extremely caring bunch of guys, I am sort of words to express thier hospitality. The food was awesome, I never expected they could cook such delicious food at that altitude, they would set up tents even before I reach my campsite and talk to me about my day. On the summit day along with the guide two more guys accompanied me for the summit push, carrying hot water, food, and supplies. Although I was energetic enough to reach the summit the cold night was really harsh, and to be very honest i could reach Uhuru peak only because of these guys who kept me warm and pushed me till the peak. After the trek owner seif was waiting for us to celebrate the success and even after the trek he was kind enough to help me with my onward travels to Arusha and other places. A simple thank you is not enough for these guys. I would highly recommend Kili Africa tours or Ontime safaris for Kilimanjaro trek because they provide the best service at reasonable price. Thank you whole heartedly brothers.

I climbed the Machame Route on Mt. Kilimanjaro with a group of seven climbers during July 1-7. It was a fabulous experience. Prior to the climb the organization's leader, Seif Juma, communicated well with our team's leader (my son) and other members of the team. He and his staff made sure we had all the personal clothing and supplies that we needed. During the climb the 3 guides, 22 porters and cook were exceptionally professional, going beyond our expectations to assist us. They informed us what to expect each day, provided excellent tents, sleeping bags and mattresses, served delicious meals and beverages, and frequently monitored our health. We appreciated the professionalism of Kili Africa Tours and highly recommend climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro with them.

Choosing the right agency for climbing Kilimanjaro was not as easy as we thought but luckily for us a friend told us about Kili Africa Tours and how delighted they were with the services they provided. Communication with Seif was very easy and we gained trust in the agency. At the beginning, our group consisted of two girls and we felt a little insecure, but after we met them, we forgot all our worries and felt safe with this wonderful team.
We chose the Machame route for 6 days. Diclan and Rama were our guides and we had fun together, we laughed, we danced but they also gave us information about the vegetation and fauna there. In the evening we gathered for tea and they told us stories about their different tribes and traditions. I strongly recommend Diclan and Rama as guides because they took care of us and motivated us to push our limits.
The food was beyond expectations, and we lacked absolutely nothing. Our chef always asked us if everything was okay or if we wanted him to prepare something special for us. I never expected they could cook such delicious food at that altitude. I am vegetarian but they took care to prepare alternatives for me and I can honestly say that I ate better than I eat at home.
The porters were very nice to us and even though they worked hard all day, it was fascinating to see joy on their faces every time we reached another camp. They always motivated us and gave me so many life lessons. I felt like in a big family and I will keep them in my heart all my life.
After climbing Kilimanjaro, we went on a 2-day safari in Ngorongoro and Tarangire. The lodge in Manyara was gorgeous and we wished we could stay there longer.
Because our flight was cancelled, we stayed 2 extra days and Seif found the right activities for us: a local chagga coffee tour, Materuni waterfall and kikuletwa hotsprings which was the ideal combination between learning new traditions and relaxation.
We were in Africa for the first time but we felt wonderful and I highly recommend Seif and the Kili Africa Tours or Ontime safaris for all the activities that Tanzania has to offer. I plan to come back for safari in Serengeti and also Zanzibar and I will definitely call this agency again.

Kili Africa Tours was recommended to me by a good friend , back in December last year. Kilimanjaro, the roof of Africa, was always in my plans, but never closed to reality..
Doing some early planning and cash advance for early booking of hotels and some basic stuff was done by Seif in a transparent and very professional manner.
So there I was on a very early morning on JRO international airport meeting the guy in lead and part of his great team.
Next we were introduced to the guides meant to show us unbelievable beautiful trails in a incredible landscape , making this mountain unique in the world . Besides the guides was a really professional cook. Porters were very friendly. However be ready for extra tips because of national park regulations many more are hired. For 7 tourists they allocated 28 porters.
Expedition itself took 8 days , ascension started on Machame route from Machame Gate to Machame camp crossing a deep and misty jungle. Next days we d into moon desert like landscape at around 4000 m for a good acclimatization.Mountain hardware tents made cool nights to be felt warmly. A mobile shower and toilettes units made our life much easier than expected :)
For summit we waked up around midnight and started hiking around 1300 m ascent trail. There were strong winds blowing with about 60 70kmph from time to time, resulting in a real feel around -15C.
As all of us reached the summit, some of us with a generous help from our guides, we descended happily to Milenium camp following Mweka route.
All in all was a very pleasant and and unique experience offered by the Kili Africa Tours which I gladly recommend to all who want to climb Kilimanjaro.

AVOID Kili Africa at all costs!
Do not do any business with Seif Juma and Kelvin Macmillan who are the owners.
You don't get what you pay for!
* Food is disgusting.
* Tents leak.
* Sleeping mat is not insulated and so thin its not even useful.
* Their porters are ill equiped with gear and they weren't treated well by Seif when we were arrived back at the hotel.
* Their time management is horrible from arrival to departure.
* They wanted to change my itinerary the day I arrived from a 9 day to a 6 day without a refund. I later found out, that Seif and Kelvin, who had my flight details, had to put a team together last minute because I did not want to take the 6 day itinerary they pushed me to take.
* The guide didn't check the details on my certificate at the gate. My summit info is incorrect on my certificate.
* Additional services that was paid for and included was also not received.
I summited 26.09.2023 but the overall experiance was a 1*.
These guys were happy to take my money and still managed to ripp me off.
They agreed to a $500 refund but have sent me rude and unprofessional messages with no refund.
I have since reported them to the Ministry of Tourism, TANAPA and Tanzania Association of Tour Operators.
They are not KPAP registered.

I climbed to the rooftop of Africa with a professional team from Kili Africa Tours! They customized a package tours upon my request including several days of safari in Ngorongoro and Serengeti and my trekking to Mt Kilimanjaro, Fredick is the best guide, they take you to the Top in style. It also included airport pickups, drop off, and driving me from hotel and to places. This made my trip easier and safe, especially since I was travelling solo. Since I didn’t have to worry about where to stay, how to move around the city. I highly recommend Kili Africa Tours.
