My partner and I recently spent three days, two nights, on a private safari in Ngorogoro and the Serengeti with Mega Adventures.
Yassim was incredible - he did whatever he could to make sure we saw all the animals we wanted to, including the big five.
Massawe was an excellent cook - treating us to delicious meals each night.
Yassim even made us feel comfortable after we thought a Buffalo was going to break into our tent!
Would highly recommend, the team really went above and beyond to make our safari experience unforgettable - including a campfire on our last night that many others were quite jealous of!
We felt like we had a totally unique experience while still experiencing the best of the Serengeti and Ngorogoro.
Yassim was incredible - he did whatever he could to make sure we saw all the animals we wanted to, including the big five.

We had an incredible Tanzanian experience with Mega Adventures! We climbed Mount Meru in 4 days with Good Luck and Juma (and an amazing team!), and went on a 3 days camping safari with Mubarak.
Climbing Mount Meru was an incredible experience, and having the right team made all of the difference. Good Luck made sure we enjoyed our time and made sure we were safe checking up on our health twice a day (oxygen levels, signs/symptoms of AMS etc). The food was always delicious, and everyone was very kind and helpful. This was especially true on summit day – Good Luck and Juma did everything they could to make sure we were able to summit the mountain! We are so grateful to the whole team for their attentiveness, helpfulness and sheer kindness.
Our safari experience was incredible as well! Mubarak was incredibly knowledgeable and provided so much insight into each species and conservation in Tanzania. He answered all of our questions, and was always happy to stop wherever for yet another photo. He made sure we enjoyed every bit of our experience, and really allowed us to make the experience our own. We would definitely go back to do more safaris with Mubarak!
We had the opportunity to meet Mohamed as well who for months had been answering my many emails and questions, and helping us plan our dream trip.
I can’t recommend this company enough – they are incredibly knowledgeable, local (it’s so important to support local economies wherever you travel!), and make you feel like part of the family. They made our trips exceptional, and went above and beyond to provide us with an experience that surpassed all of our expectations. Thank you to everyone at Mega Adventures!

My friends and I went on a 4 days safari trip. We visited the Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater. It was an amazing Safari trip and a "Mega Adventure"! ;-) The whole tour was well organised and we were able to enjoy the wild life around us. We enjoyed the service and the food was really delicious and outreached our expectations.
Our guide Ali knew his business very well! He is a very nice guy and I enjoyed talking to him during our tour. He gave us a lot of interesting information about the animals, the national park and also about the culture of the local tribes! Also he is an experienced driver, who knows how to handle driving on the rough roads trough the national parks. That's why we were able to spot "the big 5", even a rhino! Especially the wild life in the Serengeti overwhelmed me, I have never seen so many animals and I never got so close to watch them.
I would recommend Mega Adventures to anyone who is looking for a professional and well organized safari or day trip!

From February 26 to March 4th my husband, myself and our two best friends went on Safari with Mega Adventures in Tanzania. Marcel was out guide and Frank our driver. Marcel was the nicest person you ever have or will met, he spoke perfect German, and knew all the animals - ALL BIRDS included not only by there species and english name, but also in German! Frank was an incredible driver and we could only admire his skillful drives through mud-holes and roads turned into rivers, he was funny and also very knowledgeable about the wildlife in Serengeti, Nogorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park and Manyara National Park. Marcel and Frank were always on time, had everything ready for us and we were just amazed by the beauty and wildlife both of them showed us! If you are every going on Safari with Mega Adventures, I hope you are so lucky to have Marcel and Frank as your guides- they are simply the BEST!

Lifetime journey !!
Mega Adventure is a very reliable agency that we recommend warmly, with extremely competent staff, very well maintained cars, good network of welcoming and confortable lodges and tent camps.
Organisation of the trip was easy and straight forward in direct with Mohamed the owner of the agency based in Moshi : 6 days Tarangire, central serengheti, north serengheti, Ngorongoro, family of 4.
We had an Outstanding guide Yasin who is absolutely number 1 : very kind joyful and interesting person ; excellent driver and mechanician in tough roads ; and amazing connaissor of the area and the animals He knows great spots and he could foresee the animals behavior so that we were always at the right place right time to experience the breathtaking wildlife particularly in north serengheti where we were lucky to see several crossings of the great migration coming back from Kenya
We also got a feel of the way traditional Massai people live in their villages
Thank you so much Yasin and all the team for this unique experience and superb memories Marie

While in Tanzania, we booked two trips with Mega Adventures: a day trip to Arusha National Park including a walking safari and a game drive and a 4 day group safari to Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Both trips were incredible experiences and we would definitely recommend Mega Adventures to every traveler looking for a professional and trustworthy travel agency.
We were looking for opportunities to explore some of the natural attractions Tanzania has to offer. Mohamed helped us choose the perfect trip and answered all our questions beforehand. Both our trips were very well organised with a balanced itiniary. Our guides Yassin and Ali were both great at spotting animals, incrediblely knowledgeable and passionate about their job. Iddy was our cook for the 4 day safari and surprised us with his amazing food. The car and the equipment were well maintained and absolutely nothing was missing.
We would definitely travel with Mega Adventures again and can only recommend them! The entire team made sure that we had the most incredible time, creating unforgettable experiences. Thank you so much!

Ve had five fantastic safari days in tree different parks, all thanks to our guide Anuari Ally Ngaina. He really made the different to our experience and holiday, he is simply the best! Anuari was so proffesional and all the time, during our safari, he had the best focus for us 24/7. Even when ve sad goodbye to him att the airport, he told us to contact him if ve should have any problem on our continued vacations on Zanzibar. We would highly recommend Anuari Ally Ngaina as the best safari safari guide ever! He really made our safari trip fantastic. Thank you Mega Adventures for your schedule, and for you let us have Anuari as our safari guide. We hope you can give your further tourist the same happiness and experience as we had with Anuari.

My partner and I did a 5 day safari in the Serengeti and Ngorogoro National Parks, with MegaAdventures. Firstly, Mohamed is incredibly professional and not pushy at all (unlike many of the other companies we dealt with). We immediately had a good impression of him and particularly how he treats the guides and other support staff (a very important factor for me). Our tour was seamless and perfectly organised, and it was clear that they do not believe in cutting corners. Our safari vehicle was in great shape and appeared to be very well maintained (zero issues at all with breakdowns, flat tires which had been a concern of mine after reading reviews for some other companies). The food prepared by Chef Massawi (also a very sweet guy) was delicious and varied. And where do I start with our guide…Yasin was sweet, fun, professional, very knowledgeable and had an incredible eye for spotting wildlife. Just read his reviews on the Mega website and you’ll see why we were so happy to have him as our guide. This safari was a dream experience - just like in the movies! It exceeded all my expectations - and MegaAventures, Yasin and Massawi made it all happen.

Our group of four people did a 6-day hike of Kilimanjaro using the Machame route. It was wonderful. Our guides, cooks, and porters were top-notch. Each day, after we started hiking, the porters would pack up all the stuff and then pass us along the path, then set up camp before we got there. The guy in charge of the company (Mohamed) was friendly, organized, and trustworthy. I am not sure why MegaAdventures is so much cheaper than other companies I looked at. I suppose there might have been a few things that weren't as high-end as some other companies. For example, we didn't have our own private toilet tent like some other groups, but who cares? The food was fine. Our guides told us that they (and the porters and cooks) were well compensated by MegaAdventures, which was good to hear as well. I would definitely recommend them.

We booked last minute and got a great offer for a 5 days Safari Fly in/drive out. Before the trip we were in contact with the owner Mohammed to decide which kind of Safari we would like to book. He responded and worked very quickly and gave us good advices. The safari was organized perfectly. Our safari guide Yasin was the best guide we could have wished for. He constantly was searching and watching for animails, has a good eye to find them and has a lot of knowledge and experince. We had a lot of fun, saw the Great Migration of Gnus and Zebras through the Mara river and lots of other animals. We definately recommend Mega Adventure. It was an unforgettable experience.
