Mafia island diving is the best choice to explore Mafia's breathtaking underwater world. The entire team is very professional, friendly and takes care of you and your safety. They have a immense passion for diving and caring of the environment. The only thing you have to do is relax and dive! There is always a briefing before the dives, your equipment is prepared for you on a shelf with your name on it, your tank is prepared and brought to the boat. Between the dives, they provide you with snacks and you can chill on the beautiful wooden boat. If the weather allows, you sail back to the diving center, which in itself is an incredible experience. The whole atmosphere is full of good vibes, everybody makes you feel welcome and i can't wait to come back !

Divemaster here. In a nutshell: amazing diving conducted by an awesome team! I have seen four turtles, baby sharks and rays… just on my first day! Since you are diving in a marine park, the corals are healthy and widespread – there is plenty and diverse underwater life! I have done about 20 dives with Mafia Island Divers and I had some of the most amazing dives ever – even compared to Asia and Central America! I am still flashed about the last night dive and all the glowing stuff you can see in the dark! About the shop: David, the owner, is a cool guy who knows his stuff. Leo, the good house spirit, is a nice guy to hang out and who has a wide knowledge about the in and outs of diving. The whole of the team is super friendly and will do whatever it takes to make the most of your diving trip! Mafia Island Diving is more expensive than other dive shops on the island, but you get what you pay. If you want to get the best experience (reliable operation, well maintained equipment and professional divers) you shouldn`t save on this end. I scouted 2 other shops but none could convince me to stay. When you are done with your dives: ring the bell and see what will happen!

We were on Mafia Island for a week and did about 15 dives with Mafia Island Diving. We also did an Advanced Open Water. The dive centre is located in the Marine Park therefore a daily fee has to be paid. However, this is well worth it as the dive sites are fantastic. There are beautiful corals and lots of small fishes and little things like nudibranchs, etc. to see. David's team is very professional and helpful. The diving equipment is in very good condition and the adventurous spirit increases on the beautiful wooden boats. The team consists mainly of local dive guides who know the dive sites very well and try to make the dives an unforgettable experience.
