6-Day Garden Route & Addo South African Adventure from Cape Town

124 reviews
See the best of South Africa's famed Garden Route on this 6-day adventure from Cape Town. Visit rugged Cape Agulhas, sip local beer and wine, hike in the gorgeous Tsitsikamma National Park, float through Wilderness National Park in a canoe and soak in the sun on the beautiful beaches of the southern coast. Top it all off with a safari at Addo Elephant National Park.

Don't think it is really worth the money. You can almost see more fish live looking done the rocks just outside the aquarium. I think they are doing a great work but entry fee is quite high in my view for what is on display.

Smile, we have had the most amazing experience diving with 2, two meter Smooth Hound Sharks, was a tick off my bucket list, Love their names, Bonny and Bean, the staff was very hands on and pleasant, the octopus Paddy gave us a beautiful display playing in the open undersea tank, the clown fish are beautiful and we can see a lot of love goes into looking after each fish and sea life in this mini aquarium. When we visit again i am definitely making this a yearly stop. Kind regards Riemer Family

I personally think it was the best experience in Mossel Bay. It's small, but totally worth the money. Swimming with the sharks changed my life and helped me step out of my comfort zone, gave me so much more confidence. The octopus is also very friendly which helped to cheer up my day! I'd love to go back and would highly recommend going there! xx

The entire experience is like being transported to a new world! The entrance is a bit tricky to find (although there are signs informing you of where it is, so just be aware that you won't see the entrance immediately on arrival) I didn't get a chance to swim with the sharks since I'm in a moon boot 😢 I do however want to return sometime during my holiday here in the area for the guided tour - didn't know I had to book in advance 🙈 I like how much emphasis is placed on the well-being of marine life: the animals come first, the tourist comes second. By this I don't mean that the service or experience is bad (I'm emphasising this because I saw that was someone's complaint about the place). If you want to learn more about the ocean and it's creatures, this place is awesome. If you want to spend an hours walking through an aquarium just to look at fish (meaning sans education) this place isn't for you.
