Some interesting displays of the town’s history. The kids enjoyed the displays of how things where in the previous century. It will take 30-45min to go through the museum. There are more display rooms downstairs, so make sure to view them a well.

I am very glad that we visited the museum and that I could see and learn about my history and only now realize how hard my ancestors have worked.

A great house to visit. It makes you realise how difficult it was to live here in the hot climate. Takes about an hour to look round the interesting house and objects.

We did a self guided walking tour of Graaff Reinet and took in two of the 4 museums. Both worth a visit.

The museum explains the history of the area and has interesting displays. It also has an interesting collection of prehistoric fossils that were found in the area of Graaff Reinet.
