Did the 3 day cycling tour from Rubona to Karongi. Wonderful experience riding through beatiful landscapes, highly recommended. Very professional organisation, which provides good material and good service (eg. also organised main luggage transfer). Recommended to do the tour with chaperone or guide unless you have tools and skills to repair bikes (not only tyres) on the way (even good... More

We rode with porteur Marcel from Gisenyi to Kinunu washing station, where we stayed for the night. It was a beautiful bike ride (with excellent bikes!), and Marcel was a great guide! And Diane in the office in Rubavu was a great help to us for planning our trip, but also some other things we wanted to do in Rwanda.... More

I hired a good quality mountain bike, helmet, gloves and repair kit from Rwandan Adventures and went on a route recommended by them which took me south from Kigali down to the Nyaborongo river. It was an excellent day, the locals were very friendly and the landscape was stunning. It was great to be able to get out of Kigali... More

We took this trail on foot with Isaac, the guide from Rwandan Adventures. He was very helpful the whole trip and also excellent in providing information. We appreciate very much his interpretation when being among locals and among others his open mind. He has very interesting opinions and we spent hours on discussing different topics. The trip was very well... More

Jo, Emmy and the rest of the RA team catered to all our needs! We wanted to bike from Kibuye to Gisenyi but only got 75% through. It's a tough ride but the views are spectacular

Rwandan Adventures was really great in helping us organize our bike tour from Gisenyi to Kibuye. They booked rooms, gave maps, gave advice, responded quickly--very useful and nice, and even advised friends of ours hiking instead of biking. The standard bikes are heavy but sturdy and had no problems. Only had a couple of issues (why not 5 star, otherwise... More

highly recommend! had a fantastic porter (who also served as my guide, despite his limited English, he was helpful and wonderful). tough two day trail (the second day was especially tough following a huge thunderstorm) but doable. Fantastic scenery, fun cycling--a great way to see the countryside and scenery off the beaten path. great tour--a must-do if you are in... More

Thanks for your kind review, we're delighted that you had a good time on your trip. Our main porter, Twizere (or PapaRuth), is very popular with customers. He doesn't speak English or French but everyone reports that they manage to communicate well with him. Please come back and cycle some more with us soon! More

Rwandan Adventures was fantastic! Personalized service and great at coordinating my entire adventure along the Congo Nile Trail. I rented a well-maintained hardtail mountain bike and hired a bike porter for the two day ride from Giyseni to Kibuye. The porter was a former Team Rwanda member! Overall, my experience couldn't have been better. I can't wait to do it... More

Cycling the Congo Nile trail was a really fantastic experience, nice views, great landscape, lovely people and a nice porter, Gisel, who carried my bags and showed me the way. Cycling is a wonderful way to experience Rural Rwanda. Kids screaming "Mazungu" and running along with you. The road was rough but absolutly worth it. I fell of my bike,... More
