I do not have a specific map of Lake Kivu, only Google Maps. We only made a 3 days tour starting in Gisenyi. The first day was a 24 km hike to Cyimburi, next day 15 km to Kinunu and third day 12 km to a place somewhere on the street from where the brought us to Kibuye by car.
Our guide mentioned that the 4 days tour from Gisenyi to Kibuye is the nicest part of the trail. Obviously, south of Kibuye you often have to walk just on the street.
Have fun! Claudia
