About
This green oasis of peace in Ibadan draws locals and travelers to its many attractions. Here, you can spot turtles, monkeys and peacocks at the Agodi Zoo, have a blast at the water park, stroll through the beautifully landscaped woods, go on a horse ride, and have a leisurely picnic on the lush lawn. There's even a paintball arena where you can have a face-off or even catch a tournament. You’ll need a ticket to enter Agodi Gardens and individual attractions might have separate charges—though admission is usually covered on a tour of Ibadan which often includes a stop at the gardens. – Tripadvisor

The agodi gardens has a very nice view and conducive environment, however the charges are excessive and management is poor. You virtually pay for everything as soon as you enter.

The management should improve services, doing this will attract more customers, and increase their customer base.

Was totally disgusted. My husband and I are living in Ijebu Odi at the moment, it took us 2 hours to drive to Ibidan this morning. We made the drive only to go to the gardens. When we arrived there we were told we cannot enter prior to 12 am I tried to explain to a very arrogant and unpleasant guard that we had made a special trip to visit the gardens. he was so rude it was most upsetting I told him I would be giving Agodi gardens a bad review on trip advisor when I got home, his response "why don't you do that right now, I don't care" It is dangerous to be on the roads too late on A Sunday our plan was to get there for 10.30 and leave at 1.30 Well guess they did not need our entry fee.

Went to Ibadan in March it was sooo hot. Not the parks fault though lol but was expecting to see the Animals part after want one to visit here for so long. but the walk from the park area to the zoo was horrible so much trash through the bush and what do you know Got to see the alligator monkey and bird that's all that was there. And my favorite A Horse while walkin through the park. The guy who kept it up was so kind hearted he even talked to us about the animals and even fed the parrot bird so he can talk to us. Enjoyed what animals they had though there was so much unkept grass and bush area that when I was walking I got cut on branches so many times . The pool was so packed and water not clean. Really had my hopes up. Oh yeah the entrance workers were sooo rude. Thanks from an Unhappy American

Barely 2 minutes after we got through the entrance gate, while searching for a spot we could lay out our picnic mats, there was a heavy downpour and we could not enjoy the park. Spoke to the team at the gate and ask if we could get partially reimbursed and they rudely declined.
There were no tour supervisors also. Kids slipped and fell in muddy waters.

The worst place to ever be,please don't bother wasting your precious time and money. No animals at all, very dirty, bushy,it's just like an abandoned site. You pay 500 for nothing as gate fee and another 500 for entering the pool.My worst experience ever.

We actually had a wedding ceremony at the garden. The landscape is well maintained, garden is neat, and although we were dressed up as wedding guests, we could see everything else on the grounds. The pool, the play area for kids, and the min-lake. Typical for a day out

Lush greenery with great scenic views.
Lots to do in one place
Entrance fee circa 1.5 USD per adult
Water activities at the swimming pool, Leisure stroll or simply sit and enjoy the green grounds with several sitting areas. Pleasure 'carousel ride' available
Great place for photo session.
There are a couple of animals in cages, several crocodiles, monkeys, 2 hungry looking lions, you might be fortunate to witness their feeding times, 3 donkeys for donkey rides at additional costs.
The pond has fish.
There are several eating spots with traditional finger-foods such as Asun, Suya (Kebabs)

I visited with my husband and two toddlers. We spent about 2 hours here and my children were sad to leave. Great picnic spot: Clean grounds, some peacocks here and there, a pool, a play area...But the best part was the customer service. I contacted Agodi Gardens via Instagram 5 days prior to my trip to Ibadan and they were very helpful. They even suggested hotels round the park. I definitely recommend this place.
