It was very interesting to see how they extract the fossils but the shop after was as expected too much touristic for my taste

This is a factory where they process some rather spectacular fossil finds into everything from furniture to small souvenir type items. While I enjoyed looking at small fossils, in situ, when we were out in the desert, they had some nice items if you are inclined to buy (no pressure, but I heard their offer to ship anywhere in the world multiple times during the tour). Worth a short stop if you want to buy something, otherwise you can skip at no great loss.

Is something you only see there the owner is very good not pressure to buy the price is ver reasonable for what it is

There are many Fossil studios and shops in the area.
This was pretty good. A 10 minute overview of different types of fossils and the process for making them into product.
Then inevitably into the "showroom". Of course "no pressure to buy", means lots of pressure to buy! But by Morocco standards not too bad.
The product and prices looked pretty good. We were not in the market for a big item, but bought a few inexpensive gift items.
Overall good experience.

I wasn't aware of the fossils that are found in this part of Morocco. I just loved them and the opportunity to see how the different products are created. My squid fossil sculpture is one of my favorite things that I bought!

Great place to see what is done with the exhumed fossils. They show you the process of getting to the fossils and the end products for their effort. We found the gift shop to be a great experience and purchased an amazing cocktail table to be shipped back to the USA. I will revise my review once I have possession of the table to let you know how it looks.

It was helpful to see so many different types of fossils in one location. Makes the choice harder but gives you a real wide variety of kinds and prices. I found the staff easy to work with and very helpful
