We had stopped at another of these workshops/stores on the road between Rissani & Erfound, there must be hundreds of them along the highway, they all looked the same to us. First we were given a brief tour about the different fossils found in the area and how they are used to make the furniture. This was my first experience... More

The factory tour was an eye-opener as the guide showed us how they extract the fossils from the huge lumps of stone dug in their quarry. there were staff grinding and polishing the cut stone revealing the amazing fossils of all size and description. We were taken to the showroom with all types of objects exposing the fossils, from tables... More

In February we purchased a beautiful table made with fossilized stone to be shipped to our home in New York. It was shipped in an ocean cargo container and came in the time frame as promised but it had a broken base. We reported the broken base with photos and reconfirmed dimensions. They were slow in their correspondence but quickly... More

Thoroughly enjoyed touring this ability and showrooms. Some lovely and expensive pieces as well as some smaller more affordable pieces for those of us who are not multi-millionaires.

As a geologist, I felt the explanation by the guide was a bit lacking, but for non-geologists probably acceptable if slightly confusing. The fossils here are good, but there are better available in other parts of the world if you're not concerned with having a specific species. Prices were definitely better than in the US.

We were shown around the Kasbah--what kind of fossils they have, how they find the fossils in the stone, how they cut the stone and polish them. Prices in the shop are set, so you do not have to bargain. They have the most amazing tabletops, sinks, fountains, etc., so I would advise saving your money and buying something incredible... More

We were impressed with their tour and quality of their products. Since we were brought in by a reputable tour company we felt comfortable buying a table of fossilized stone to be shipped to New York. Afterwards, I read some reviews questioning the reliability and difficulty for their shipping and how they lived up to delivering products in proper condition.... More

We were amazed at the beauty of the different objects, furniture and murals that are produced from fossils. The visit is accompanied by a description of the process and naturally an opportunity to buy some of the wares, Great visit.
