What strikes you first, is the cool breeze from the lake. Although the KWS officials at the gate needs to be more professional and needs customer care service training. They were rude and almost turned us back because we only had our cash in MPESA...More

A nice and quick stop to see local wildlife. More like a zoo then a park. Bring a picnic to enjoy by the lake or take a boat ride to see the hippos.

The sanctuary is nice. It is just beside lake Victoria. It is a nice green spot for the locals. The animals are kept nicely. I used to stay around 5 minutes away from this place and hear the roar of the lions every night which...More

We took our kids here in 2015 while visiting family. It was incredible. Our kids still talk about our visit to this park.

This is essentially a zoo! Not a reserve/park!!! Interesting range of animals however (lions, cheetahs, hyenas, ostriches, baboons, etc.)

The Impala Sanctuary is great for a day out with a loved one. The stroll through the pathways offers a sense of relaxation, and the guides are very knowledgeable of their craft

Good morning Derrick, from memory it was considerably cheaper for a Kenyan citizen than a foreigner. I think it is around 2500/- for foreigners and around 1000/- for citizens. This may have changed since April.
