My sister and I flew with Fondy. This was our first time ever in a helicopter and Fondy was funny, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe when in the air.
For someone who gets motion sickness easily, Fondy made our ride very smooth. The helicopter has open doors which added to the views and excitement.

From start to finish Helicopter Horizons delivered an exceptional experience. Scott, a young pilot originally from New Zealand was on time, intelligent, and made sure to show us not only what we had hoped to see, but also the varied aspects of Botswana which we may have missed with a less knowledgeable pilot.
I would highly recommend this company and scenic flights to show you Botswana from the air!

We had a last-minute opportunity to take a scenic flight, and it was one of the best experiences we've ever had. Fondy was our pilot- he was fantastic: professional, knowledgeable, happy to accommodate requests, and full of interesting information as we flew over the delta. There is nothing like seeing Africa from a heli, we will absolutely book with HH on our next trip.

We took the scenic flight that visited the elephant orphanage - top notch all round. Our very enthusiastic pilot, Christian, was fantastic from the get go, he could spot animals well before we could and was great at making sure we got great views. The photos from this trip are stunning. I really do recommend the elephant orphanage - elephant haven - it was a highlight of our trip!

The experience was absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommend to see the Delta by air before going on safari to truly appreciate the beautiful landscape and scenery from the air. It provide another perspective! Our pilot Tom was very informative and had a passion for his work.
The team in the office were super friendly and very helpful. Thanks for making the experience that little bit more special.

We’ve been travelling around Botswana for the last 10 days and as a final expedition, we took a flight over the Delta with Fondi at the controls. To say the flight exceeded our expectations doesn’t even start to describe the experience! It was a safari tour on speed without the lumps and bumps of the 4WD jeep used for the rest of our journey. Fondi was an excellent guide to the wildlife and the R44 a perfect platform for the journey. It’s not inexpensive but worth every penny.

Helicopter Horizons is the first helicopter tour my wife and son had been on, and from start to finish, this company exceeded our expectations and raised the bar (see note below on why they raised the bar!).
We initially booked a 45-minute flight from Maun airport at 3 pm, but then discovered from our safari director that it would not be possible because we were due to go to Moremi that day and the gates closed at 6:30 pm. Horizon was very quick to respond to my query about changing the flight, and we switched our flight to Khwai Airstrip and opted for 30 minutes.
On the day, the helicopter flew into Khwai on the dot, and a very helpful pilot (sorry, I can’t remember his name :-( ) provided an excellent experience. The Okavango Delta is a pretty magical place, but Horizon literally provided an otherworldly perspective—something we will never forget for the rest of our lives.
So, why did Horizon raise the bar? As part of our visit to Southern Africa, we also booked a helicopter flight in Zimbabwe to see Victoria Falls. That company’s flight on the day was shorter than advertised, and we just kept comparing it to the amazing service from Horizon! Horizon’s helicopter duration was exactly as advertised and a bit more. Now that’s exceeding your customer’s expectations! Horizon raised the bar—well done and thank you!
Thank you very much to Joy, Bonolo, and Ludo. And last but not least, thank you to the helicopter pilot for a truly unforgettable experience (sorry I forgot his name). So, if you are in beautiful Botswana and the Okavango Delta, definitely book a flight with Horizon.

Fantastic experience provided by pilot Alex viewing the Okavango delta panhandle. Very considerate of making sure all passengers had opportunities to view animals from both sides of the helicopter and knowledgeable.

An absolutely amazing flight. We had returned from doing a 2 night, 3 day tented trip in the Okavango. To see it from the air was incredible and gave you a different perspective to what is experienced on the ground. Our pilot Alex was wonderful, spotted so many animals, made sure we got to see it all and made for great photos. A definite highlight of our 4 week trip. Highly recommend doing this trip and having no doors made it an extra special trip.

Charming young man from Vancouver, BC was our pilot. Knowledgeable, courteous. Brendon, our pilot, pointed out everything he saw before we knew it was even there. Spectacular views of the Okavango Delta. Thrilling flight. No doors on the helicopter made for obstacle free views. Don't forget to take a selfie in the helicopter. In the excitement of it all, we forgot. Once in a lifetime excursion for us.

Hi Sally, the 45 minute flight in the 3 seater helicopter is $655.00 for the whole helicopter which excludes $10.00 per person departure tax.
