I did 7 water days with Beluga Diving in October and it's hard to articulate just how incredible the experience/company is. I will qualify by saying I am writing solely from the experience I had (others may differ), and I may have gotten very lucky (though speaking with others who have also used this company this does not seem like the most likely case). The crew is amazing. I really can't say enough about them. We had whale interactions all 7 days! From static mom and calves to heat runs the crew found us a little bit of everything! My boat had 2 different captains and 3 different guides and all of them were extremely kind, professional, and most of all, experienced! I am probably biased but it always seemed like other companies were radio-ing our boat to share whales our crew found. You can't help but feel like you're on the right boat when this happens with as much recurring frequency as it did (more days than not). I also booked through Nadia Aly (humpbackswims.com) who sorted housing and food for me while I was there. If you book through her and Beluga lunch is provided on the boat and it's amazing! Our lunches were made by Nadia's private chef and let me tell you-rave reviews all around. Beluga also, in my opinion, has the nicest boats in the area (judging by the boats from other companies that came to share whales). For me, this makes a difference since you're out on the water for 7 hours. Which for me can be a long time when you're on a crappy boat. I also went in early October which I believe is the best time (Nadia and folks from Beluga concur). During this time there are fewer boats on the water, the seas seem to more calm, and because the calves are more mature they seem to be much more curious, playful and interactive. The moms also seem to be less reluctant to let them check out the humans in the water. October is awesome! If you don't believe just message Nadia or Beluga to confirm. Full disclosure, I don't know how the pricing compares with other companies but I definitely left feeling like I got way more than my money's worth through Beluga. They are some of the most kind, professional people I've ever met and I can't wait to see them again! **All photos and interactions were taken under permit.**

Awesome!!! A super guide and captain. Great boat - steady even in rough see. Easy to get in/out. These guys are connected so alle ships nearby help finding the whales. Guide tried everything to make sure everybody got a chance to swim with these magnificent / giant creatures. Even topped the day with lunch at a deserted island and a snorkel-trip to a nearby cave. Highly recommended!

Whale Swim with Beluga Diving was an experience of a lifetime - for sure! We spent a day with guide Jay, & skipper Simmi, & were fortunate to have the privilege of swimming with a mother & baby humpback whale! It was an incredibly emotional experience, just unbelievable to be in the water with these magnificent animals. I just wish I could have the day all over again - in slow motion!

We contacted via email and telephone to arrange dives with them. They answered in good time and we coordinated to meet at the dive center at 8:00 am since the boat leaves at 8:30 am. When we arrived at the port at 8:07 am we did not find the Dive Center and we asked some people who were working. A man told us very reluctantly that the ship had already left. Very surprised and incredulous we asked if it was a joke. He answered again in a very bad way that the ship had already left, that no one had arrived and left the port. I commented that I had had communication with a person by email and telephone and that they were waiting for us. The man, who turned out to be the owner of the business, answered again without looking us in the face, that we had talked to him and that the ship was not there anymore. Without giving us more explanations and leaving us standing without words, he continued doing his thing. The lack of respect we feel for the treatment that this person gave us has no words. He left us stunned without looking us in the face once and without changing his ordinary and contemptuous tone of voice. A more than unpleasant experience that resulted in the good fortune of having met his competitor. Beyond his little desire to work and serve customers well, he should learn good manners.

Spent the day today 29th August 2019 Diving with a lovely group of people and our guide! The two sites were excellent even though the guide mentioned how the visibility wasn’t as good as it normally is we still had 30+m and beautiful structures. It’s also an affordable price of $240TPO 7.30am - 1pm. Definatly worth it. I know it can be hard deciding what places to dive in popular spots like this but I strongly recommend this company and the diving in Vavau and this is coming from someone with 5-600 dives under there belt! Just have a look through the photos for yourself! Thanks guys I’ll be back : )
