Yes, my friends, it is truly a 3 headed coconut tree. We drove past it the first time, since we saw the sign and were expecting something shorter. All we had to do was look up! It was actually cooler than I expected.

So we drove past this tree as the signpost is only directed one way! There are so many coconut trees in Tonga you would really miss it - even with a map! Look its interesting but please don't go out of your way to see it!

I seen this on a trip with a tour guide, probably wouldn't be going out of my way to find it other wise..but if you're passing through, well why not.

Omg this was absolutely crazy. I took 3 planes and 52hours of travelling just to see this must-seen attraction. A 3 headed coconut tree! Not one, not two, but THREE!! Totally worth it. I took a guided tour (750$) to visit this, (3hours, approx. 1 hour of explanation per head + helicopter around the tree) exploring every detail of this amazing coconut tree, taking crazy Picts and selfie. Everyone was jealous and my wife even cheated on me after that!
Less visitor than Eiffel Tower and you can see it from the road at only 5 meter
The BEST coconut tree EVER.

When I came to Tonga, I was unsure whether there would be enough to do for six weeks. All that changed when I found all three heads of this majestic coconut tree. Thank you Tonga, this site changed me as a person. 5/5 essential activity.

Life changed. The only 3 headed coconut tree in the south pacific and it lived up to and exceeded all expectations. It was like the world stopped as we lost ourselves in all 3 heads of this spectacular tree.

Nestled in the heart of the island of Tongatapu, there is a hidden gem of Tongan tourism. This island paradise smothered with coconut trees has a secret, there is one coconut tree which is not like the others......
Behold, the three headed coconut. The only tree of it’s like in the South Pacific, there is not one, but three heads to this coconut tree! This is a must see when visiting Tonga.
Don’t fret, you won’t miss out on this as it is signposted from 10km away in the centre of Nuku’alofa!

I'm sorry but if this is a Tourist Attraction then I'm from Mars .... I wouldn't have even noticed it had it not had a Brown Tourist Sign next to it ...
Unfortunately Tonga is short of Tourist Attractions so someone on the Tourist Board had a bit of imagination & dreamt this up ...
Yes it does have 3 heads but so what ........

This is a must see. After the visit you will be looking at all the coconut trees trying to find another three headed one - you won't - I looked. The tree even has it's own sign board.
