The tour from San Pedro to Uyuni is definitely recommendable! We were divided in two groups, one for Spanish speakers and the other one English. Our driver Fredy was really nice, drove really save, gave us so much information and answered questions really patiently and always cared if everything's allright. The food was good and the first hostels was basic (watch your values) but okay and the second one was amazing, it was from Cruz Andina itself and nice double rooms, good shower. But keep in mind that there is no wifi and no mobile network during the tour, but you get what you book, a stunning and very well organized adventure!

We would’ve given Cruz Andina 5 stars and a perfect review except for one thing at the end of the trip. First and foremost I can’t say enough great things about our guide and driver Saul - he deserves 10 stars. He was always on time, provided great service, was very knowledgeable about the area, and did everything with a smile. We were impressed that he wiped down his car and kept it clean throughout the whole trip while other drivers kept their car sandy and dusty. We booked a semi-private tour so it was just me and my husband in the car and the rooms. The food was good and Cruz Andina’s lodgings were clean and always had hot water. Saul also took great pictures of us at the salar and whenever we requested it. You won’t go wrong with Saul! Everything was perfect until the very end of the trip. We were handed off to another Cruz Andina driver for the long drive back to the border so Saul could take a much deserved break before his next trip. The morning of the return trip, the new driver was almost 2 hours late to pick us up. He overslept and we watched through the window as someone woke him up. He hastily jumped into the car and drove like the wind to get us to the transfer point at the border on time. We made it but we were not able to have breakfast that day and the ride was a bit nerve wracking. Needless to say that put a sour taste in our mouth at the very end. It’s a shame that happened because everything would’ve otherwise been perfect.

As a highly recommended touring company I chose them over some of the cheaper options, I started with them in San Pedro de Atacama and had ourselves a group of about 12 with two guides, spanish is pretty important but our guide could speak a bit of English and usually others translate. They have option for English guides. The food is delicious and they have vegetarian options which are delicious! The knowledge of the local guides is intensive and while it’s a busy route it’s a must see! The nights and sometimes days are freezing so rug up! There are many stops and bring some supplies! The hotel they have at the end is a company one and arriving I was shocked as it looks incomplete but when entering its perfectly set out and will be a nice place when it is done with a nice view over the plains around! Enjoy

We really enjoyed our 3 day trip from San Pedro to Uyuni. Our guide Ronald was extremely friendly, funny and the best guide we could have imagined. The food was very tasty. Would definitely recommend to go with Cruz Andina.

We spent 4 days and 3 nights traveling from San Pedro de Atacama (chile) to visit Bolivia, in particular we were directed to the Salar of Uyuni. We booked this option from Italy some weeks before. Our guide, Gilmar, was amazing! He showed us the beauty of Laguna verde, Laguna Blanca, Laguna Colorada and of course The Salar. We appreciated a lot his explanations and we had fun with him. I will never forget those landscapes. Thank you Cruz Andina and thank you Gilmar!! Annalisa, Alessandro, Irene and Marco
