Amazing place, amazing wine
Nov 2019
We have definitely made a right choice coming to this winery. We were the only visitors, wine was great, estate is beautiful with extensive collection of cactuses and beautiful mountain view. Girl who was doing the wine tasting did a personal tour of the winery for us and we have spent enjoyable couple of hours there. Cheese was great too.

One of the "must to visit" bodegas in Cafayate

In addition to the incredible wines produced by this vineyard, all the charm of the place, the surrounding landscape and the friendliness of its staff / sommeliers (thanks Gilda for the tasting!) make of this winery an unforgettable wine experience!

Lovely 1.5 hours; information; wine and views

We had a private tour of the finery and the girl explained about the wine making process... she spoke quite good English.

We were then invited to choose 5 wines each to try so 10 between us and then Sat outside over looking their vineyard and mountains ibn the distance. It was lovely and the girl kept bringing out the wines to try and we bad some cheese which was included

The price is 130 pesos each for the tour and wine tasting so about £6.50 however if you buy wine this fee is waived.

A good experience in a boutique winery. We purchased the red domingo molino 2014 tannat and the red and white desert wines which were we thought the best.

Shaky start but very good!

It got off to a slightly shaky start when I arrived at the bodega and was told that I would be able to do the wine tasting but the tour would only be possible if other people arrived. I asked if this meant that I would get a discount on the tasting and the lady said that the tour is effectively a bonus of the tasting. I clarified that it was because I was on my own that the tour wasn't available, which was a little awkward, and then as we spoke further about the wines the lady seemed to come round and said she would give me the tour after the tasting either way. I am glad she did! The tour lasted about 20 minutes and it was very interesting to learn about the whole wine making process on this farm.
For the tasting you can choose 5 wines from a selection and it includes some cheese and crackers for cleansing the palate. It was lovely sitting outside and taking in the views of the vineyards and the area with the tasting. I spent just over an hour there in total. The bodega is 6km up a mainly dirt road out of town and the taxi cost 140 pesos each way. The cost of the tasting is discounted on any wines you buy. Definitely recommend.

The best bodega visit in Cafayate
Nov 2017 • Friends
I haven’t written a review for a long time but Bodega Domingo Molina must be mentioned. I stayed 2 years ago in Cafayate for two weeks and this year again for two weeks, visiting many bodegas. If you want to visit only one bodega, this is it. There is an informative individual tour around the winery in English. Then, five wines chosen by yourself can be tasted for 100 P in the lovely garden. The wines are high quality. Water and cheese is also included. If you buy wines, which I highly recommend (e.g. the Domingo Molina Tannat), the tasting fee is waived. The bodega is 8 km from Cafayate but a taxi is less than USD 8.

A must visit

What a great family ! We have visited my partner and I their three business; Domingo Hermanos (a lovely winery with good prices, an excellent location with some good but more entry level wines), the Cabras de Cafayate where they produce excellent goat cheeses that you can enjoy with their own wines for a very good price. And we finished with the best, their ultimate wine project; Domingo De Molina ! We had an amazing visit, very luckily done by Rafael, one the three son and more precisely the Oenologue.
They're producing a fantastic range of wines, all very well balanced for good prices and if you really want to treat yourself you can easily go for the top cuvées with no worries of the quality at all. Rafael is an expert and has been taught by one of the best local oenologue. He's adventurous in his choices and doesn't hesitate to experiment new winemaking technics. He's making some superb blends, sigle varietal like you can't find anywhere else (Sauvignon Blanc, Petit Verdot...)

A must visit for the view
May 2017 • Friends
If you are in cafayate, this winery is a must. It a must for the spectacular view. They gave a wine tasting tour for 100 peso 5 types of wines. If you purchase wine they waiver the 100 peso.
Its worth going up there just to sit sip and enjoy a bottle of wine.
The wines were good.

Its only 20 minutes from town

My friend and I arrived in a taxi with no reservation and were met by a friendly lady willing to do a tour immediately. Lucky us! She was well informed and spoke with perfect english.
The winery is small so the tour didnt take too long then we had the pleasure of great wines outside the main building. The tour takes place up high above the town so you have an incredible view of the area. Cactus are everywhere and the scenery is just breathtaking. What a perfect place to enjoy some really wonderful wines.
We tasted 5 in total and the bottle was left on the table each time. We loved all of the wines and great deal to purchase a bottle and the tasting is free! I had to oblige!
I would highly recommend this vineyard especially if the weather is nice its so special to enjoy the wine al fresco.

An incredible winery with fantastic views! Definitely worth the trip up the hill (but do yourself a favour and take a taxi). Wide variety of wine tastings to choose from... and generous portions to boot!

Random stop on our self guided wine tour in and around Cafayate. We were immediately greeted upon our arrival and shown to a comfortable setting over looking the valley. Stunning views and the price/quality was the best we experienced that day after several tours.
Host was knowledgeable and attentive. English is limited (OK for us)
Definitely recommend.
