We cycled here from Cafayate village although in hindsight we should have just walked. It's about a 1hr cycle or a 1.5 hr walk. The trail is poor so you'll need a mountain bike which is heavy, awkward and a lot of effort.

The route is very scenic but uphill towards the end and the days get very hot in Cafayate (30 degrees celcius or so). But this vineyard was totally worth it!! The service is 5 star. It was a Saturday at 3pm but we were the only ones here and for $50AR each we tasted 8 wines (2 torrontes, 2 malbecs, 2 cab savs and 2 tannats) and it included a big bowl of walnuts and a separate bowl of goats cheese (natural and spicy pepper infused).

The setting is absolutely beautiful. It's a small vinyard with cactii everywhere, has a very scenic bodega and the vineyards are all around and you can spot eagles flying overhead. In my best spanish we were able to converse with our host who was very eager and enthusiastic to inform us of the wine making process and how each wine was made. It was just a fantastic experience overall.

This is a small production with some delicious wines (especially the Torrontes and malbec in my opinion). We opted not to do the Piattelli vineyard afterwards (which is one the way back to Cafayate) because we had such a good time here.

I would highly recommend!!!

We dropped past here after a trip to the Yamachuyo bodega. Bodega Domingo Molina was a far better experience. The wine guide was great - talked us through half a dozen wines while we sat outside. Great views. Very reasonable at only $25 pesos (about ÂŁ3.50). Skip the massively overpriced Yamachuyo bodega (which is on the same road) and come here instead.

We have definitely made a right choice coming to this winery. We were the only visitors, wine was great, estate is beautiful with extensive collection of cactuses and beautiful mountain view. Girl who was doing the wine tasting did a personal tour of the winery for us and we have spent enjoyable couple of hours there. Cheese was great too.

In addition to the incredible wines produced by this vineyard, all the charm of the place, the surrounding landscape and the friendliness of its staff / sommeliers (thanks Gilda for the tasting!) make of this winery an unforgettable wine experience!

Gorgeous view overlooking the mountains. Lovely wine and outdoor area to sit and enjoy it. Best of all they waive the tasting fee if your buy wine. We bought 2 bottles. None else do that in Argentina, that we've come across. A must visit in cafayate. A bit of a taxi journey or if the weather is good can cycle. More fun if you get a taxi and aren't sweaty and dirty from the dusty roads though.

Four of us have visited the winery! We got great tour, full of details and a great service outside on the patio for the tasting.

Definitely Worth the trip!

It's a small but very lovely winery. They have bigger branch in Cafayte but I don't think they organize tour there. The guide was very lovely and spoke very good English. She briefly explained all the stages of wine making. Unfortunately, when we visited all the tanks of wine were empty and they were preparing for new harvest. It would be interesting to see how everything looks while wine is in the process. The tasting was very lovely and we event get some goat cheese to go with the wine.
The tour is ARP40 but if your buy the wine it's free.

We had a private tour of the finery and the girl explained about the wine making process... she spoke quite good English.

We were then invited to choose 5 wines each to try so 10 between us and then Sat outside over looking their vineyard and mountains ibn the distance. It was lovely and the girl kept bringing out the wines to try and we bad some cheese which was included

The price is 130 pesos each for the tour and wine tasting so about ÂŁ6.50 however if you buy wine this fee is waived.

A good experience in a boutique winery. We purchased the red domingo molino 2014 tannat and the red and white desert wines which were we thought the best.

It got off to a slightly shaky start when I arrived at the bodega and was told that I would be able to do the wine tasting but the tour would only be possible if other people arrived. I asked if this meant that I would get a discount on the tasting and the lady said that the tour is effectively a bonus of the tasting. I clarified that it was because I was on my own that the tour wasn't available, which was a little awkward, and then as we spoke further about the wines the lady seemed to come round and said she would give me the tour after the tasting either way. I am glad she did! The tour lasted about 20 minutes and it was very interesting to learn about the whole wine making process on this farm.
For the tasting you can choose 5 wines from a selection and it includes some cheese and crackers for cleansing the palate. It was lovely sitting outside and taking in the views of the vineyards and the area with the tasting. I spent just over an hour there in total. The bodega is 6km up a mainly dirt road out of town and the taxi cost 140 pesos each way. The cost of the tasting is discounted on any wines you buy. Definitely recommend.

I haven’t written a review for a long time but Bodega Domingo Molina must be mentioned. I stayed 2 years ago in Cafayate for two weeks and this year again for two weeks, visiting many bodegas. If you want to visit only one bodega, this is it. There is an informative individual tour around the winery in English. Then, five wines chosen by yourself can be tasted for 100 P in the lovely garden. The wines are high quality. Water and cheese is also included. If you buy wines, which I highly recommend (e.g. the Domingo Molina Tannat), the tasting fee is waived. The bodega is 8 km from Cafayate but a taxi is less than USD 8.
