Really enjoyed our tour of this bodega - probably the best of the four that we visited in Cafayate. The tour was very interesting and comprehensive and our guide was friendly and didn't rush through it. It wasn't in English though so if you don't speak Spanish you might struggle. The tasting at the end was excellent - three delicious wines, generous measures and they even threw in some cheese too - lovely touch! Great value - would thoroughly recommend.

This winery is located just on the outskirts of town - but an easy walk, not more than 12 minutes from downtown, like 3-4 blocks, Cafayete is a small place. (somebody mentioned needing a bike. There is a winery up 45 minutes by bike out of town which they are possibly referring to, however this bodega is much closer)
We thought that this was a very quaint winery, and the vineyards are in a beautiful setting, with mountains in the distant background. The wine tasting was nice, but this bodega charges 10 argentine pesos for the experience (depending on your exchange rate it's about 3 dollars). You get to sample a white, and a red (malbec) and I found this red to be quite pleasing. There was also cheese. Other Bodega's in town have free tastings however.
After the tasting there was a tour of the facilities, I understand the season for harvesting and all the exciting stuff is January through March-ish so perhaps that is a better time to visit, but I found the tour rather bland and keep in mind it was all in Spanish. I think if I had previously toured vineyards in Napa or somewhere and had a basic understanding of how wineries work in my native language, I would've gotten a lot more out of this. But then, if you're Spanish is good you'll be better off than I was (however there are lots of technical wine terms!)
Ok well I've said about all I can say. The people were nice, and the experience for $3 USD isn't bad. Though again check on the other bodegas because some offer the same experience for free.

Visited here as part of a Valles Calchaquíes day tour, which included a winery tour and tasting.
The tour seemed pretty standard. It's only in Spanish, and my Spanish at this stage was still in the beginner stages, but it does not seem like they cover anything too interesting compared to every other winery tour.
The tasting was very limited, which was disappointing; you only got a small portion of a white and a red.
As for the wine themselves, the quality was variable. The torrontes, I thought, was fantastic. The red wine, the variety of which I cannot remember, was unremarkable.

Of the three bodegas we visited in Cafayate, we liked the wine here the most; but for a bodega that charges for tasting, I thought providing only two little tastes was a ripoff

Nothing to do with the tasting experience in South Africa. I am not a wine fan, and I declare myself an ignorant on the subject, but I can certainly notice that the way this company presents itself is telling its visitors that their wines are cheap. Only a description of the process was given to us, but we were not shown the process. When the time came for tasting it, it was hard to hear. They should give a uniform to the staff and make the experience something enjoyable. This is just a cheap demonstration. Not the slightest desire to go back.

We had only a little attention from staff and felt a bit rushed (as we were the last ones of the day). But shouldn't be! We paid 50 per pax for three wines ... average and a tiny bit of a goat cheese with the red wine (this combination doesn't work). Very average overall. Industrial wines, not my cup of tea ... The Torrontes was great though.

We had visited here some years ago. It is just a block or so from the Central Plaza so no booking needed. We will return for a tasting tomorrow as we missed the 18:30 deadline but were able to walk about and buy a red and a white. Cf the pics

We rolled over to this bodega straight from winery Nanni. This outfit is bigger than the former and we got to see a little bit more, with a field full of vines at the back of the tasting area. The guide was helpful and informative again. The wine was not to the standard as Nanni, however we had plenty of it along side some cheese. If your travelling on a budget, then this place is cracking value for some wine tasting.

We visited as part of a day trying bodegas in Cafayate to taste and buy wine. Domingo Hermanos' service was cold and unwelcoming. After feeling like we had put hem out by asking to do a tasting , and paid for this, we joined a room with some other people who had already started, interupted them, and rushed through 3 quick wines (none memorable, but that wasn't the problem), to then be shepherded out again.
Highlights were the lovely garden out front, and rural bodega equipment they had on display.
Although this was our first bodega of the day, fortunately the others in town improved on here!

the fact that this bodega produces the large 5l bottles of table wine makes it stand out from the others, especially if you visit during production hours. We paid AR$25 each for a tasting of 3 different wines, a malbec, tannat and torrontes, which was accompanied by delicious goats cheese. Wines weren't the best we tried in Cafayate but the tasting was generous and we walked away feeling a little bit merrier than when we arrived.
