We had a really nice boat ride and the captain was very friendly. The hot chocolate and blankets were a thoughtful extra. However, it's very expensive in my opinion for what you see (for a student at least!). Despite that there's not a lot to...More
Nice boat ride.
Positives: blankets, hot chocolate.
Negatives: cold, wildlife far away, price may be slightly too much.
Advice: if you've never seen penguins, seals or dolphins, then get all your warm clothes(seriously) and go.

Heiko runs a great outing and going on his boat is what responsible tourism is all about. This is an insight into continental Africa's largest Marine Protected Area, you will see a lot of interesting things and learn loads a must do in Luderitz.

It was an average boat ride. With an informative little chat from the captain, and all went smoothly.
Definitely, in a small place like Luderitz, an interesting thing to go do for a morning and seeing whales was fun!
