I really enjoy to travel to Maracaibo Venezuela, we took a road trip in different cities of Venezuela: Maracaibo was the first, people in here are called "Maracuchos" very nice, happy people. The food was great try the famous "Tequeños" or the "Arepas". La vereda del Lago, is the perfect spot to go for a walk or ryde a byke, is very safe in the day time. You can enjoy a view of the Lake of Maracaibo from here. After Maracaibo, we drove to Valencia, Barquisemeto, and to the beaches of Morrocoy , great adventure and great beaches! I will definetely will go again, is better if you know ahead of time , where are you going to stay, for safety Issues, specially if you are foreign and dont speak spanish.

I gotta give props to the mayor of Maracaibo for this park. It is super clean and you feel very safe! Also, there is alot of activities to do. bike rentals, go carting, mountain climbing wall, water park, the tranvia(a bus that takes u on tours.) alot of lil cafes and some restaurants. also if you like to walk or jog, in the afternoon there are lots of joggers and walkers

Maracaibo could not live without its 'La Vereda' thousands enjoy the park each day partaking in multiple activities. Such activities include jogging, biciclying, mountain climbing, gyms, roller bladding, paintball, race carts, batting cages, and more

Considered great by locals, as a foreign visitor I would say it's worth a visit. It's a pretty safe place to jog around and have a view of Lake Maracaibo.

Really pretty and lots to do. One of the nicest places to visit in Maracaibo if you're an outdoor person. Fairly clean and it has a lot of little shops where you could grab a snack. It has a water park, go karting track, reantable family bikes and a paintball place among other things to do including a gym. The prices for these "attractions" are affordable, especially if you have dollars.
You will often see runners jogging at anytime during the day! So you may say is somehow safe. It has a police house inside the park as well.
I wouldn't recomend La Vereda if you can't stand the sun or the heat, otherwise is a great place to go on a Sunday and have a good time with the kids. The view is one of the best in Maracaibo, since it's facing the nice side of the lake.

One of the very few places where one can get outside, and walk, skate, bike, run, go to the gym, play baseball, football, basketball, tennis, and not worry about being mugged. The most secure place in Maracaibo. Everyone who goes there is mostly polite and respectful of others. Usually a large concentrantion of patient outdoor loving people.

A safe place to visit if you want exercise or to be close to Maracaibo Lake. Beautiful scenery. You can get bikes for rent

Is a street like a malecon boulevard, there small shop places where you can drink some beverage for the hot climate. Need more attention, but is a place to relax, the best time to go is around 5 pm. The place is good for jogging, there a police station inside.

La mejor hora para visitar la Vereda, es por las tardes de lunes a viernes, porque la gente va a caminar, a patinar, a hacer mucho deporte. Los fines de semana te recomiendo en la mañana, bueno estos son los horarios en los que yo me manejo y gracias a Dios nunca nos ha sucedido nada. Los fines de semana hay mucha más gente, porque van las familias a disfrutar con los niños.. Te recomiendo si van en auto estacionar lo más cerca de la estación de policías..y listo a disfrutar de un excelente paseo, hasta ahora es lo mejor para hacer deporte, disfrutar en familia y respirar aire puro..
