Pirata is joined to Madrisky . Pretty decent for bonefishing but no beaches to sit out on and with a couple of working fishing villages . Not worth a separate visit but worth exploring from Madrisky .

Connected to Madriski island by a small strip of sand and stones, this fishing village has the best restaurant for lunch, in all islands. Their specialty is lobster, seafood and fish, of course. You must order "patacones" as sider, delicious snack made with fried green bananas. Hummmm...

It is ok, but you have so many amazing cayos to go in Los Roques that don't bother going to cayo pirata

Good resting spot after a long morning of diving. You can relax on the white sand or just eat your picnic basket!

Great to visit on a charter tour because it's not too big. You can stay there for a while and then carry on with the keys tour. It's important to have bug repellent and anti-allergic just in case it itches too much.
