One of the closes beaches to Gran Roque in Los Roques is Francisqui and I have to say is just magical, the colors of the water and the location makes this particular beach to be a place to enjoy

There are few places in the world that match the beauty of its white sandy beaches, blue emerald waters of los Roques. Small islands with no one, reasonable $ prices and one hours flight from mainland Venezuela. Bone fishing, kite surfing and great snorkeling, plus very few cloudy days make it a sports/sun seeking paradise. Be careful with sun exposure... More

I close my eyes, and I feel the sun gently touching my skin, and the wind refreshing my soul at this beautiful island! You have to go to the natural pool at the back to do some snorkelling!

Excellent place to relax upside the water, enjoy a Lobster and have some fun with kayak. I strongly recommend it.

It is hard to say which beach/cayo is the best in Los Roques, but Francisqui is definitely the best beach with a restaurant on it. We spent plenty of time in the water there, but when we wanted something to eat and drink we went to the little open air restaurant that is right on the beach. Cuba libres, cervesas,... More

when you get to los roques you have 2 choices. take a package tour and be crowded in with another 20-30 people per day or, rent a boat (with a skipper) and ask him to take you to a sand bank, leave you there, and return to pick you up at sundown. Most posadas, will organize this trip, and you... More

Here, this key, have the possibility to walk some meters with the water at your knees. You can take a chair with you and sit there while your kids are careless playing or simply stay talking with friends. If you snorkel, maybe can see some lobsters laying at the bottom between the algae. At the rear part of the key,... More

All the cayos I have visited in Los Roques are gorgeous and Francisqui is no exception. We went for a short-day on Friday because we were leaving for Caracas on a 3:00 flight. The short distance from Gran Roque make this the perfect cayo if you have less than a full day at the beach, but you may never want... More
