Playa el Agua is famous around the world and when we decided to visit Margarita it was the first beach we wanted to see. This beach was a big disappointment. If your hotel happens to be there, fine, otherwise don't bother. The water was all but clear the sand wasn't white and there were a lot of stray hungry dogs and people drinking. Maybe because it was January first, I don't know, but I didn't like it.

Stayed at the Eden Club and tried this beach a couple of times. Is nice looking but a bit dangerous to swim. Nice for a walk, try another one for swimming

Quite a few restaurants dotted along the beach and also a Subway if you want a sandwich. Many vendors also, but they do not hassle you if you refuse. One of the recommended visits if you... More

Playa El Agua Beach is a wonderful beach in Margarita Island in Venezuela, over there are several all inclusive hotels. Go and visit Venezuela it is better than the people says.

Most Scandinavias go to Phuket and Thailand for vacation. But I would go to Isla Margaritha instead. I've been to both places, and believe me, this is by far better, due to not having all the hectic hordes of tourists. Sure there are plenty of tourists here, but not as crowded as it is in Thailand but more beautiful. I... More
