Today Daniela, the coordinator from Mahakitours Isla de Pascua, took Lara & myself to see the Moai statues at 5 major sites, including beautiful Anakena Beach. Daniela went "above & beyond", to cater to all our needs. Nothing was too difficult. She was patient & accommodating, & extremely knowledgeable, having had 13 yrs experience as a guide, using perfect English. The late model car was air-conditioned & comfortable. Without Daniela's generous knowledge, I would not have got the deep understanding about the history & culture of this amazing place. Daniela customised the tour to make it a completely personalised experience. I highly recommend this professional tour with Daniela Pino A from Mahakitours.

Daniela, the owner, is an amazing tour guide, super informative and friendly. There's so many positives about this company. I actually booked through Expedia, who was then Gray Line, and then Daniela's company so you may choose to go direct, it may be cheaper that way but even if it isn't, at least the hardworking Daniela will get a better cut. I'm sure you will have a fantastic time. The minibus is small so you will get more personal attention but you will see exactly the same as other companies doing the same historical sites. Lunch was included on the full day tour, it was sufficient. Easter Island is a special place and it is so worth getting some local expertise and guidance and Daniela is certainly that. I was so impressed I booked another tour, the half day to Orongo whilst there after the first tour.

Daniela and Julio took me around the island for three days and it was by far the best way to get to know Rapa Nui. Do not look any further, this is the best tour company on Easter Island - small tours, great price, good coverage of main historic sites, exhaustive explanations, very nice guides. Daniela knows so much about the history of the island, old and new traditions, explorations and discoveries and so on. It was always a pleasure to hear her explanations and she never tired of my endless list of questions. I took one full day tour, two half-day tours and one afternoon walk up the Terevaka volcano. I never felt rushed in any way and always got plenty of time and explanations at each site. I was always picked up and dropped back at my accommodation and got plenty of tips on where to eat, dance shows and other events happening on the island around the time I was there. Mauruuru Daniela!!

English/ Spanish I am not a guided-tour traveler; I prefer to travel on my own. However, given the fact that there is no insurance company for vehicles and there were three of us traveling (3 women), I decided to opt for a tour instead - and have no regrets whatsoever!! I am not saying I will be doing that elsewhere again, but Rapa Nui is def one of those few places where knowledge of locals of customs and history will make it only so much more special and needed, I would even say. All the preparations were handled by Daniela and the tour was done by Julio. Both were very professional and attentive to our special requests (be that a vegan sunrise tour breakfast or extra busy 3-tours-in-one-day program). In total, we had 2 days of touring. All the formalities had been taken care of through WhataApp communications with Daniela and everything was arranged perfectly. The tour was done by Julio and was greatly entertaining, informative and fun to be a part of. We suspect that Julio is 'a walking Rapa Nui encyclopedia" :) We left this spectacular Island with a sense of having been in touch with and a part of its tremendous history and cultural traditions. We feel like we have met each of the moais personally :) We didn't get bored of seeing the numerous moais or their Ahu's; on the contrary, we felt like we should have had an extra few days to be able to discover even more of the island's secrets. We absolutely recommend both Daniela and Julio! Based on what we have seen, a tour agency in Rapa Nui like no other!!!! ...... ¡Estuvo maravilloso! La organización, la consideración, el conocimiento de la historia, cultura, gente de Rapa Nui... fue impecable y logramos sentirnos una parte de esta isla tan especial!!

We just returned from a trip to Easter Island. During our stay we had the pleasure of enjoying an absolutely wonderful tour of the island with Daniela. She was great! My wife and I travel often and have experienced many tours with many different guides. I can honestly say that Daniela is one of the best. She is a former flight attendant who moved to the island for a better life for herself and her family. She speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable about the island and the culture. I highly recommend you contact her if you plan to travel to Easter Island.
