We visited here as part of our San Antonio de Areco tour with Camino Pampa. It's a lovely church in a simple Spanish Colonial style in a place of prominence on the town square. When we arrived the church bells were tolling. We only stopped in briefly since it was Sunday morning and Mass was beginning. We were delighted to see a few dogs among the parishioners.

We got married on this beautiful church in July 22 1967
My wife was living one mile from the church.
Today we’re immigrants to the USA for the last 44 years
with my 2 Daughter both married & 2 grandchildren.
Wander full memories. God Bless you all.

The building is going under some restorations on the inside so the full beauty of it can't be seen at the moment.
However is a nice visit to explore some catholic art. The building was first built in 1730.

This is a beautiful church, I did not see anyone around but it was open so I went in. Felt so peaceful inside. It is simple but beautiful.

Across from the town square, this church stands out. Is well fitted inside, free entry, but not a must see. Enjoyed our visit

I do not know whether to call this a church or a cathedral or what, but it is very tastefully appointed, and very clean. We spent a good ten minutes wandering through and enjoyed our visit.

A must see across the street from the plaza. Even if you are not a catholic, step in and enjoy the building, and if you are join the locals for mass. It is very well kept!

This is a small town church. It is pretty normal. Here you can visit a museum of the silver, where an artisan from Italy started working on silver and he made beautiful pieces of art. Today you can buy several items that they still manufacture. Prices are good.

We were staying at the Estancia La Bamba and on our way back to Buenos Aires we diverted to take a look at the nearby village. Its well worth a visit. We stopped in the square and took a stroll around the town. Delightful place..
