This was such a fun experience. Laura was a wonderful tour guide around the town of San Antonio de Areco. She is a longtime resident that was able to show us around with passion and lots of information. The estancia Ombu was also lovely. We went on a horseback ride, and the horses were very nice and gentle, even for those of us that were scared of horses. The dogs on the estancia, were also very nice, even for those of us that were scared of dogs. The food and wine was wonderful. We had some of our favorite empanadas we had in Argentina, and a full asado meal. Laura was able to navigate us through what all of the different foods were. Two musicians played some folk songs, a gaucho and Laura taught us and some others that were at the estancia how to dance the gato, and do a waltz. We ended with a gaucho show with one of the horses, that was really lovely. Our driver was also very good— quiet when we were quiet, chatty when we were chatty, and absolutely the smoothest ride we had during our whole trip. An overall great experience.

Had a wonderful time on your with Veronica who taught me so much about the history of San Antonio de Areco. The day was topped off by an over night stay at estancia El Ombú with horse riding and a beautiful meal. Wish I could stay forever!

It was my best part of my Argentinian trip, all was perfect. The visit of San Antonio was very interesting and professional. Thanks Sarah ! And the stay at this Estancia was unforgettable. All was excellent : the kindness of Diego and his staff, the historical building, the horse ridding, the meal, the nature, and so on. I highly recommend this visit! Thanks so much for everything !
