Dry Fly Delight
Dec 2018 • Couples
My wife and I just fished the Malleo three days 3 days ago on a fly fishing trip of a lifetime with Jack Trout Internatonal.

We caught big Browns and big Rainbows all day long wading the magnificent Malleo River. Drift boats are not allowed on the river and its packed with rising trout but not with people. We scarcely saw another fisherman all day. The guide was outstanding. The stream side launch was gourmet and the setting spectacular. Many rivers do you!

Muy bueno Solo en Diciembre!
Feb 2018 • Friends
Is an excellent place to go fishing but only with a good water level which is usually in December! After that is low and several anglers and campers. The best in near the end with Alumine confluence. Good luck!

Beautiful river close to Junin
Jan 2016 • Couples
We spent several days fishing the Malleo. There are several spots for easy wading access, however it can get very deep in parts. Lots of sheep and cows around. A beautiful river with some fat Browns!

Pleasant River
Mar 2012
Since we were just passing through (not here to fish), there wasn't much to do there. That said, it is pleasant to look at, hear the water running by, take a little stroll, etc.

Great fly fishing river with hoppers!
If you like dry fly like we all do, this is a great river to fly fish with grass hoppers and nymphs. Be sure you buy a license first but this catch and relase river is one of the best in the world for hoppers!! If you walk the road above you can spot lunkers for sure and my wife Carola Trout has caught many nice trout in this gem of a fishery!
