We fished for 5 days with Gabriel and Andreas on three different rivers in the Junin area and had an excellent experience. This was our third trip to Junin, but by far the best. This is a family business, Gabriel and Andreas are brothers. We alternated days with one or the other and they were both excellent guides, great oarsmen and just lots of fun to spend time on the river with. they were willing to teach and try different things to but us on numerous big fish. We fished the Collon Cura, the Alumine and did a 2 day float on the Chimehuin. We caught lots of fish everyday, mostly on dry flies. The overnight camping on the Chimehuin was amazing, comfortable tent and cots, and also probably the best parrilla I had anywhere in Argentina. Just delicious. The experience with Flotadas Chimehuin was excellent, start to finish. I arrived sick, and they worked with us to rearrange days to fish when I was feeling better. Even delivered a humidifier to my lodge room. Warm people. concerned, very easy to work with. And the fishing and guiding were excellent. I highly recommend Flotadas Chimehuin for a top notch patagonia fishing experience.

We spent a week with Gabriel and Andres Fontanazza, of Flotadas Chimehuin for a week on fly fishing on four different rivers in Northern Patagonia. They arranged for us to stay in wonderful lodges, with great food and wines. Their skill and experience on these local rivers (Malleo, Chimehuin, Collon Cura, and Alumine) made the fly fishing adventure a "once in a lifetime" experience.

I have been to the Lake District of Patagonia 6 times. This was undoubtably the best trip I have had! Gabe & Andre were excellent guides who found us big trout on small flies in the most unlikely spots. They arranged good accommodations & food at a reasonable price. And they were fun to be with. Of course their sister Giselle keeps them in line & focused too. We'll be back.

As I was watching the plane land in San Martin from B.A., I was wishing that I was on that plane starting our trip instead of departing. We had such a great time there with the brothers. An extremely well run operation with complete attention to detail on every level. Everything that has been said in the previous reviews echoes our experience 100%. Looks like these guys are going to be seeing a lot more of us- thank you for such a wonderful experience.

My wife and I took a 3 day, 2 night camping trip in February with both Andreas and Gabriel, who took turns guiding and doing the camping and cooking chores. With two boats, one would go ahead to get everything ready for us. We are both in our seventies although experienced wilderness campers in our younger days, we were a little worried about camping out in Argentina, but we found the camping gear to be very good, both guides to be very helpful and excellent fishing guides. We caught a lot of fish and had a lot of fun. We floated the Alumine and the scenery was great. I saved the best for last, the food. Gabriel's wife, who trained in culinary school, prepared most of the food ahead of time and the men grilled great meats for dinner. We always had hors d'oeuvres, great salads and desserts in addition to the main course. Some of the best dining we had in six weeks in South America.
