As a child I recall my father taking us to Wasaga beach where we could drive on the sand. Those days are gone but the nostalgia is alive and well in the town and beach area. Great for families.

Ribfest and beach volleyball made it a crowded but fun place to be on a hot Saturday. I liked that you could pay once for parking and use all the municipal parking lots all day.

The town of Wasaga Beach does have fireworks at dusk on July 1st. I do not have the exact location, if it is at the actual beach.
