Sorry corymitc you may, at a 6 handicap, think this not be up to your standards, but for most golfers this place is an little known gem. The green fees are great, the scenery is great, and the holes are fun and varied. Oh, by the way you are not likely to find a more personable pro than Walt. Living in N.W. Calgary it is a 45' drive, much like me driving to S.W. Calgary! This is my go to course!…

If you don't stop to play a round you are missing a great experience in the Canadian Rockies. Scenic mountain settings surround you as you play through. A must see in your leisure time.

This is more of a pitch and putt or executive course with a few longer holes to make it resemble a golf course. It is a "cute" and does have some nice looking holes. But for a strong player (let's say under a 10 handicap.... I'm a 6) this is a bit of a joke. It's narrow so I got to work on my long irons off the tee a lot. Didn't have the opportunity to hit a single wood (nor was it required in anyway with the short holes). But if looking at it for a short game test, it fails in that regard too. If you're a high handicap golfer it may be a fun Mickey mouse course to try out. Although I think of this as a course catering to the high handicap golfer, the narrowness of the course will likely require them to bring a couple dozen golf balls. Accuracy is constantly required. If you're a serious golfer, from arrival to finish you'll likely be thinking "What is this?", as I was.…

I have driven by here many times. I’m glad we finally decided to play here. Not a long course but challenging and picturesque. You need to choose when to tee off with irons, hybrids, or driver. A great course design that follows the contour of the landscape.
