Nice museum but needs some improvements

Located in the center of the city, this small museum gives you an idea about the Persian arts. There are beautiful ceramics on the walls and beautiful artifacts inside the museum. However the insufficient lights and restriction to use flash inside resulted in poor quality photographs.

Tomb of Karim Khan
Mar 2019 • Family
Actually the museum is tomb of Karim Khan . the tomb is located inside Bagheh Nazar which is next to Zand street . Whereas the museum building is small and the the inside items are too limited whoever there are beautiful paintings ,ancient coins ....which can attract everyone to herself . the small well renovated building is also visible because its a sample of Persian architecture in that period.

Terrible
Aug 2018 • Couples
So bad that it's even funny: mediocre garden with a ridiculously poor museum of random things (not random enough to make it good). "Bronze things - period:somewhere between the past and today".

OC.

Not worth the money or the time.

Aug 2018 • Family
Be careful with the café, they are very rude and make the foreigners pay twice the normal price. the museum is quite good.

Octagonal building
May 2018 • Family
This museum is located in Nazar Garden.Nazar Garden was the oldest garden in Shiraz during Safavieh dynasty. The octagonal building was the place in which royal guests were hosted during the Zand dynasty of Iran. It was also used for holding official ceremonies. This building was built by order of Karim khan in the Nazar Garden.
It is also the burial place of Karim Khan Zand.
There is lots of beautiful and old original paintings and objects inside of this building. You will be very amazed to look at them all.
For me the grave of karim kgan is very impressive as he was one the strong and wise king in Iran.
If you are going to visit Arg of Karim khan you can walk to Nazar garden.
You need to buy ticket.

this attraction is in Bagh e Nazar( nazar garden), it's blosseoming with flowers and green lushy garden of spring time. inside the octagonal old building where the museum locates, the exhibition show how proprerous Shiraz city ruler, Karim Khan is. his sword, replica of his bust, paintings, personal belongings are stunning luxurious and valuable. outside in the garden , there are many citrus trees( Narenjestan) with smell of its blossoms.
