Iranian visa for USA citizens (7 Replies)
I visited Iran 2 years ago and am interested in returning. In light of recent developments, will I be able to get a visa. Btw, I used Uppersia for that trip and it was fine.

I just read online in my own search that no visas will be granted to US citizens until the US lifts their ban on Iranians. I wonder if you can get around this by joining a tour group? Sorry, but you may not be returning for a while.

Visa question for Australian travellers to Iran (20 Replies)
Hi, I am thinking of doing a tour in Iran next year. For those Australians that have travelled before me, did you get your visa from Canberra prior to travelling or did you get a Visa on Arrival at the airport? Also (for anyone), if you used a tour agency can you advise which one and whether you would recommend them? I am currently looking at uppersia or keys2persia. Thank you! (I'm sure I'll be back with a ton more questions at a later date!)

Overnight buses in Iran for females (3 Replies)
Should i be concerned about travelling on my own on overnight buses between cities in Iran in April? Do these buses have toilets? I am a 60 year old Australian woman and am used to travelling alone. Thanks I'm sure i will have plenty more questions I am trying to decide whether to go it alone or do a tour with Uppersia.

Hi asiamate54, Overnight busses are absolutely safe for females. Please only take the bus from official agencies in bus terminals and avoid taking them by hitchhiking at night. There is no toilets inside busses but they stop every 3-4 hours for around 20-30 minutes and people can use toilets or eat something . Good Luck, Amir
