After deciding to spend my young life travelling the world, hands down I can say Iran is in the top 5 countries to visit. Filled with ancient history, good food and the friendliest of people, it's not a place to miss.

My time in Iran could not have been the same without the extraordinary service provided by Uppersia! Before even arriving in Iran they were extremely helpful in assisting in the Visa process, organising the itinerary and responding to queries.

The visa process is a very lengthy process if one has a UK passport. However do not fret, it is normal for there to be lots of back and forth with the Iranian embassy and for them to only grant the visa a few weeks before you go. This is why the help given by Uppersia in the lead up to the trip is undeniably priceless. I do not think I would have made it to Iran without them!

The Pink Mosque, The City of Yazd, Persepolis and many more could be written here as tour highlights but none were quite so beautiful as my tour guide Ehsan. Not only did he provide a perfect tour guide service, with his extensive historical and cultural knowledge, his exuberant attitude and his time-keeping, he also proved to be the makings of a great new friend with his warmth, kindness and compassion.

I would definitely use Uppersia again (and possibly ask directly for Ehsan!) as they made my tour hassle free, reasonably priced and gave me one of the best tour guides on Earth (I have been on over 50 tours globally so can give credit)

I recently took a 12 day tour of Iran and overall the experience was a good one. My guide was Seyed Ali Mohammad Hosseini, and he was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. He was a big help in making the trip as smooth as possible and did more than he needed to in order to make the trip memorable. He will become a good friend by the end of the trip.

It's not very easy to get into Iran as an American, so the opportunity to visit is quite special and I'd recommend anyone reading this to give it a try. Another benefit of having a guide even if you don't require one is the knowledge of the currency situation and navigating a country that is more difficult than others.

Perhaps the only critique I would have is that we had more "down time" than I expected. Some days the program was quite short. It felt like a 9 or 10 day tour built into a 12 day tour. However for some people this maybe desirable since Iran can be very hot and resting is important. So just talk to the company and inquire about your specific desires, everyone is different and wants different things.

To sum things up, this is a good company and if you get Ali, he will give you knowledge of Iran that you can't get easily from the outside.

It has been one of the most wonderful trips in my life. Mina, our guide, Samira, the agent who organised everything, and Ali, our drive, made this an unforgettable experience. Iranian people are sooooo wonderful! They will always be in our hearts. I travelled with my 16 year old daughter and my husband. Mina made sure that everything ran smoothly for us, attentive to every single detail, everything we needed. She has an excellent knowledge of iranian history and speaks fluent Spanish. I defenitely recommend travelling to Iran and doing it with Uppersia. It is an excellent travel agency. We were in Iran for 17 days and if I had to choose something from the trip I would defenitely choose their warm and hospitable people. In terms of history and culture you can't miss Persepolis, Shiraz, Isfahan, Yazd, Qom... So many interesting places! Thanks Samira, Mina and Ali.

I just completed my six day tour in Iran and everything turned out to be just perfect. When I was planning my trip, most time I was communicating with Mahnaz and she responded to all my questions quickly and clearly. My tour guide was Mr. Ehsan Dehgha. He is a very knowledgeable and highly motivated young man who is currently pursuing his master degree in tourism management. He clearly has passion for what is doing. I highly recommend him.

Despite what the media says, Iran is very safe and even being an American I was treated with nothing but kindness and respect during my visit to Iran. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in iran and my tour guide Ashkan was very knowledgeable and excellent...thank you Uppersia for helping to arrange this trip and assisting me with the visa process which I couldn't have dont without you.

Dear Noah, Thank you for taking the time and left a review. As an American citizen who has visited more than 100 countries so far, You announced that Iran is a safe and hospitable country. Nothing better! I hope to see you again in the land of hospitality.

The trip went very well, we liked it very much. Too bad it was a short time, Iran is certainly a big country that required more visiting time. We would especially like to thank our guide for her exceptional accompaniment and friendliness, that made our trip a wonderful experience.

We miss Iran already.

I had a lovely week-long tour, which ended up being private because nobody else booked the group tour. Definitely appreciate that Uppersia still ran this for me (we planned together for months since I had to go through the complicated visa process as a U.S.-passport holder). My guide Yasna was a pleasure to spend a week with, and gave me great insights into the country and culture over our time together. She also introduced me to some delicious food and drinks, and showed me the Persian hospitality as best as she could, given that I was limited in my ability to interact directly with the local environment. Thanks for everything!

I did a day tour to Persepolis with Ehsan.
I was expecting to join a group on the tour but in the end I was the only. Ehsan has a lot of knowledge about iranian history and Persepolis in particular but I think it was too much information for me. Persepolis was nothing special, but if you want a guide this one is definetely a good option.

Great 8 day tour of Persia/Iran from Tehran to Persepolis with the exceptional help of my great guide Leila (Lili) Zargar and driver Shirazi.
Experiencing all the culture , architecture and cuisine of this country from old Zoroastrian to new Muslim times.
It was hot but worth the while.

They took me to all the examples of culture, architecture and cuisine from the Zoroastrian pass to the Muslim present.
It was hot but worth the while.
