The castle is very much a ruin but the village is well worth visiting in itself and a great place to start a walk from.

Not a great rambling ruin, more of a tower and the remnants of the original castle. Very interesting though and the notice board is very informative. Easy walking distance from the middle of town.

There is some good history and easily accessible ruins with a small kids play area. It's nice to walk around while in the area as it's in the middle of town. There is a path through to the beer garden at the Dragon Inn next...More
