Visited as its opposite the metropole hotel. A perfect cosy Microsoft brewery offering a huge array of beers and ciders but with a 3 page gin menu. Very very friendly and knowledgable staff. Try the liquorice gin or seaweed even. You will not be disappointed.

Love it here! Great Gin list with as much tonic as you like, shame other pubs don’t learn from here and offer better. Great atmosphere but could do with being a bit warmer in the cold months. Keep your coat on!

Thank you glad you like it. We will bear in mind about the temperature we do aim to keep it warm and have thermostats though sometimes it can take a little while to get the temp up as we only get there an hour before we open at 4 pm or not sure whether we were just having a bad heating day. But thanks for the alert re temp always good to know that we need to keep an eye an something.

Popped in here for a quick beer while overnighting in the town.

Great selection of Ales, the beer was well kept, cool and delicious.

Didnt try any cider or Gin but a great range of local produce on offer.

No TV or music so people spoke to each other including me despite it being my first visit.

A real gem. I will return!

Our first visit here. A really unfriendly ‘welcome’. We could not get to the bar as customers were sat all around it, three of whom were vaping. Not exactly the best first impression. The drinks were ok. Visited the toilet and feet stuck to the floor. Not a nice atmosphere in there at all. We left after one drink and would not visit again.

Very friendly small micro pub in Llandridod Wells with very knowledgeable staff who know their ales and know how to keep them, the wines on sale looked good as well. Prices wee very reasonable. I was just passing through, most customers were locals and very friendly

We spent a great couple of hours here on Saturday afternoon, thoroughly enjoying the buzzing but laid back atmosphere. The selection of local and Welsh spirits, ales and cider they offer is so extensive! Laura was very knowledgable about the drinks and so friendly and helpful. Such an atmospheric little place!

This is a quirky place with a warm atmosphere and a fantastic selection of local gins. A gin and Fever Tree tonic was only £3! Also a great selection of whiskey.

My husband is into his real ale and so found this place online during our stay locally. Amazing choice of drinks, particularly beers and gins. My mum and I chose Rhubarb Cider, it was gorgeous and it was so nice to try something different. There was a nice warm welcome, so we stayed for another 🤭

On a somewhat unscheduled trip last weekend we pulled into this old Victorian spa town at sunset. We had low/modest expectations of finding a decent bar or place to eat in mid Wales, but were very pleasantly surprised with this little treasure. The place is owner operated which always ensures good service, and it was full of locals and visitors so the place was buzzing. The range of beers, ciders and spirits on offer was impressive (though I had wine), so too the prices. This bar is highly recommended and I hope we find ourselves in that part of the country again!
