Lovely little market

We popped into the artisan market at Fishguard...it was only small but had some lovely food for sale and some great stalls...there is a book stall there with a great selection of secondhand books he is selling for a donation. Certainly worth going if you are in Fishguard....it's in the town hall...not sure if it's open everyday...we went on a Saturday.

Upper Fishguard , a small local artisan and craft market in the town square .
A great butcher and pie section worth a visit for that alone ,craft stalls interesting as well and oh yes you can get a good cup of tea.
Lovely Fishguard upper and lower , great pubs old fashioned in a charming way and also visit the cinema it's like going back in time.
Oh yes and you can catch the ferry to the Emerald isle as a extra bonus.

Lovely produce

This market has excellent local produce from butchers, bakers and cheeses. I bought some delicious Welsh cheese and it was service with a smile

Good selection

We came upon this by accident while visiting the tapestry and stalls were closing up, but it looked like there was a good range of products on offer and I wished I'd got there earlier.

Well worth a look, if you are buying some knick knacks, but the best thing with the market, is the local produce of all sorts of meats, home made pies , scotch eggs, rissoles, ECT.

We visited the market on a cold January Thursday. There weren't many stallholders or many people. We did get some lovely local cheese and also lava bread and homemade Welsh cakes- worth the visit!

Pleasant wander
May 2015 • Couples
We wandered into the market during a visit to Fishguard - it didn't take long to walk round, but it was enjoyable. Didn't buy much apart from some food items including some pate and quail eggs which were the best I have ever bought. Good quality meat items and interesting jams on offer. Would return if in the area!
