Great table with view of estuary

Charming waitress attentive to our frequent requests
Despite coming in just before last lunch orders, everything still on a small but varied menu. Fresh dressed crab was delicious, perhaps better served with white and brown meat separately. Well kept beer.
Good portions,
Vince

Good food, but disappointed in other ways.

Every year we travel to Cardigan and every year the Ferry Inn was a highlight. But this year we were very disappointed by the menu. We were looking forward to the mussels. No mussels. We like starters. No starters on the menu, only desserts. I do not like desserts. Instead we find two burger dishes on the menu. If I want a burger, I go to the Burger King, not to the Ferry Inn. I expect something special in a restaurant like the Ferry Inn. We do not mind spending a bit more in a retsurant, but then it should be special, too. The food we had, we both had fish, was very good, no doubt. But for us menu wise the place has gone downhill, very sorry to say, but this is how we feel. And we could tell that the clientel has changed as well, probably because of the "burgers".I hope it will improve again.

Got a table booked for 20:00 pm, when we got there we were welcomed by the staff, this place from the outside looks small, boy was we so wrong it’s huge inside with loads of different levels to view, outside heating great friendly service, food was fantastic. Will recommend this strongly well worth a visit.

Called in for a drink whilst cycling with a couple of friends, landlord claimed to be fully booked, 5 mins after opening, wouldn’t server us despite lots of empty tables, very strange business model?

Don’t normally leave reviews but the food here was terrible
I had the tuna and anchovy starter which was disgusting.i can’t believe that
a place that is almost in the sea serves tinned tuna as a starter it was dripping in brine !
The staff were absolutely brilliant and the setting is stunning just a shame it was let down by the food.

Great pub, great service, nice food. Dog friendly, great position by the estuary. Parking is not great but it isnt expected to be in West Wales. Lovely little streets... We came for evening meal arrived at 6 ish, sat straight down, very covid 19 compliant, seperated tables. Great view.

Sunday Lunch
Sep 2020 • Couples
We have eaten lunch here a few times over the years and this time booked for Sunday lunch. This is the best Sunday Roast we have had for years!!

Firstly let me say how friendly and efficient ALL the staff were, and all wearing masks the whole time, and were very attentive to disinfecting tables as soon as customers left.

So the food, I had the lamb shoulder and my wife had the beef. The quality of the meat and the way it was cooked really stood out, and for someone with a healthy appetite shall we say there was plenty of meat compared to most places. The quality, variety and quantity of veg was also excellent, with plenty of homemade tasty gravy and a great Yorkshire with pigs in blankets stuffed in it.

Thank you to all the guys at The Ferry and keep it up, we will be back :-)

Lovely venue , friendly staff and good food . The menu had a varied choice of food that is all good quality . The views are beautiful especially if you book a table on the front ( they have indoor and out door photos would definitely recommend , just beware there is not a lot of parking spaces around .
