Finsbay was an accidental stop for us - just happened upon it as we circumnavigated Harris. The gallery is small and mostly print and paintings, but there is some really lovely items for what I would call fair prices. The owner is a delightful lady, with many fun stories. Well worth a visit.

A lovely small gallery in a stunning situation. Very friendly and knowledgeable proprietress. Surprisingly wide range of artists and media. We came away with a superb mounted photograph by Laurie Campbell, now framed and on the wall - a lovely souvenir of a memorable visit to the Isle of Harris.

A good range of original artwork and some amazing wildlife photographs, mainly local. Well worth a stop in as you drive up the East coast of Harris.

They had a few nice works, and some lovely photographs, but we left before buying anything after the lady somewhat sarcastically thanked our little boy (4) for dropping a crumb on the bare floor. Plenty of other galleries were kind to him, so we didn't feel the need to support one that wasn't.

Fantastic selection of original art. We especially liked the birds and fish on driftwood and even made a small purchase having been drawn there by there recent advertising. Great stuff - highly recommend it.

Great little gallery with a wonderful chatty proprietor. We could not make up our minds on a framed photograph or a painting. Both were held for us for two days while we made up our minds. The painting won and it's on our restaurant wall being admired by all. Many thanks.

We visited a few galleries in Harris looking for a souvenir of our trip. Finsbay Gallery is very easy to find on the road through Finsbay on the east coast of Harris. It exhibits the work, locally themed, of several artists, with originals and prints for sale. The gallery is also a member of the 'Own Art' scheme. Definitely worth... More
