Amazing view from the bridge

Well worth a stop on way to ullapool. Great view from bridge and very interesting heritage. Often a burger van here too!

the gorge is impressive and the waterfalls are pretty. But, I wouldn't consider this a must visit place. You don't need a lot of time to visit, the gorge and viewing platforms are close to parking. The main attraction is the bridge and viewing platform, but there's an optional trail also. Good parking, but as I recall there is a... More

You real should stop by if you are passing or staying in the area. I would not have known it from the road and it is hard to judge from most the pictures but the gorge really is much larger than you might assume. This is a narrow but very deep and sheer gorge. The old swing bridge and newer... More

We stopped here whilst doing the North Coast 500 and surprised how easy it was to find. There were good parking facilities and very informative boards. The bridge is only a 5 minute walk downhill and recommends that only 6 people go on it at a time. The bridge does 'shoogle' as you walk over it and is extremely high.... More

A short drive out of Ullapool maybe around 15 minutes, traffic permitted, around 12 miles away from Ullapool. If driving from there you will take a right turn which is signposted for Gairloch, carry on down the A832 for maybe 600 metres and you'll see a car park on your right hand side. The entrance down a short walk down... More

Just off the main road is the Spectacular Corrieshalloch Gorge. Really easy to get to it is a spectacular deep gorge with a small suspension bridge across and further down a viewing platform. Not one for those who do not like heights, the bridge affords dizzying views of the Gorge below. The bridge can be sway a little when more... More

Well worth a visit if in area. Quite an easy path down to the gorge which takes only 5 minutes. The bridge is good fun and views of the gorge and waterfall excellent. Go further on to the viewing platform too, only adds another 5 minutes.

Having visited the Highlands for years we've always rushed towards our destination. For once we pulled over and walked down into the gorge across the bridge, and onto the viewing point. We were amazed at the depth and narrow width ... what a view. If you have terrier dogs be sure to put them on a lead around the viewing... More

Close to the road, with parking facilities and an all abilities path down to the gorge. Well worth a stop off to view. More could be made of this attraction with perhaps, in season, something along the lines of a small cafe/gift shop?

The views are stunning and although beside the main road it's almost out of mind. The paths are a bit varied but the main path to the bridge is ok for most! Well worth going across the bridge and follow the path to the viewing platform. Ullapool only a short drive away!
